Hotel was nice, pretty normal American-ish design, rooms were clean but a little sterile looking (again, very generic American hotel style), bed was average. Plenty of space in the hotel room, and place to put your things. Room had a refrigerator and kettle (which is nice because I like to make instant coffee). Window only cracked open but still opened for fresh air. Some of the male staff were a little aloof. Not unfriendly, but odd. Everyone spoke perfect English.* Breakfast cost was a little high in my opinion, but a common price for a European hotel (25 Euro per night per person) Hotel in a decent part of town and getting a cab wasn’t hard with help from the staff (Uber was a little hard to use in Munich, not hotel related, just an FYI) *Note, it is not a requirement for staff to speak my language, but it is functionally easier for me since I do not speak German too well. Just a nice to have feature ;)

Paid for a room with a fridge. The fridge didn’t work and even though we spoke to the front desk multiple times, they only sent someone to « fix » it on our last night (total of 4 nights). All of our food went bad and in the end, the worker couldn’t even fix the fridge. On top of that, it was a 2 twin bed room, but only one of the beds had a working outlet. So the second person couldn’t charge their phone while they slept. Finally, the AC temperature controls indicated that the room could be cooled down to 18 degrees, but the hotel clearly has a limit set at 23 degrees because during our 4 nights, the room never got colder than 23. So if you’re specifically booking this hotel because you think it will have a good AC system and a working fridge, think again!

Hotel was great, the people there were very nice. In the perfect location to go to Oktoberfest. Only issue I had was with the “gym” they claim to have(they do not) Otherwise excellent stay.
