"The tram stop right across from the hotel was a major perk! The rooms were fine but was missing the iron and ironing board. Desk staff was super friendly and able to get items within an hour of asking for them. A bit away from the hustle and bustle of the main area but only about 25-45 minutes by tram/bus to most of the city. Nice area with a park across the street and some delicious food only a few blocks away. Property is drug and alcohol free in case that matters to you. Did find a plastic bottle under one of the beds when we forst went in so unclear o er how truly clean everything was but it seemed fine. Did not have the breakfast because it was 20€"

"It was very clean but this was the tiniest room ever! Not enough room to open even a carry-on suitcase except on the bed which was built-in and took up 95%of the room. We only had two carry_on suitcases and there was barely enough room on the floor for them. The bathroom was small but very modern. There were two hooks there where we had to hang our clothes. The only think you could do in the bedroom was crawl into the bed which stretched from wall-to-wall which is somewhat challenging for senior citizens."

"I travel to Amsterdam every year. This was my first time staying at Yotel. The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean, the restaurant and bar was great. It’s a short walk to the ferry to get to central station. The area itself is quiet and perfect if you don’t like the city congestion."

"Hotel was clean on outside and inside. Rooms were nice and clean. We had adjoining rooms with connecting door. One room had 2 twin beds pushed together but separate covers, which would have been better as a couple if there was 1 cover. The 2nd room was a queen or king size bed and both were clean with a desk area and chair. The bathroom was clean and had a hair dryer. If you are from USA, bring wash clothes, they do not supply those but they do offer several other items such as toothbrush/paste, sewing kit, shave cream and maybe a few other things in case you forgot something. There is not an ice machine or bucket but there is a coffee machine/ kurig, also no refrigerator to keep drinks cool. Thankfully there is a small grocery store connected to the hotel building.(Best prices on wooden tulip bouquets). Staff was super friendly, and for each day you decline house keeping, they provide you with a voucher for 2 drinks at the bar. House keeping is not available at night but the staff ensures you have what you need/want. Breakfast is ok for free, I'm really picky so I didn't eat my I but the other 3 in my party sits. There were eggs, yogurt, deli sliced meats, toast, cream cheese jelly, rolls, fruit, (I may be forgetting some food items) and drinks. I suggest bringing a water bottle to refill as they have water jug at the bar which is free or the morning breakfast staff will fill it with water for you. Very close to transportation which is a big win."
