Get away from the stress of everyday! This one-bedroom log cabin is the perfect place to do just that. Seasonal mountain views from the covered porch. Inside you'll find a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furniture, electric fireplace and flat screen TV. Main floor offers a King size bedroom and full bathroom! Upstairs is a sleeping loft with Full size bed and another full bath. Internet is available as well as a gas grill for grilling up that perfect dinner for two or for the family. Cabin has easy access with paved roads. 10 minutes to downtown Murphy and the privacy you're looking for!

Overall Nice

Stayed for a period of 2 nights. The cabin was what it stated so can't complain about that. The cabin has well water and needs a water softener as the rotten egg smell is almost unbearable and it should be noted that you may want to bring drinking water. The only other downside is having to drive 6 miles one way to pick up and then to drop off the key. A lockbox at the cabin would take the rating up quite a bit. They did allow us to check in a few hours early which was a definite plus as the cabin had not been recently rented. Other than the two items mentioned, the stay was very nice.

Need to bring drinking water

This house is beautiful and in a nice quiet area. The only down side is it is well water that smelled like rotten eggs. There was nothing in the write up about bringing you own drinking water. The other thing I would say is having to go the 11 miles to the realty office to get the key was a little annoying. This is the first VRBO house we have stayed in that didn’t have a lock box on the house or keyless entry for us to just get in. Other than those two items it was a great stay.
