Shugs Shack Beach and Inlet Vacation getaway

This first floor unit is pet friendly. Pet fee of $100.00 ( We allow 2 dogs) The view from my dream home is incredibly beautiful.(We live upstairs in a separate unit.) With the sound of the ocean echoing over the Inlet in the still of the evening makes my humble abode a dream place to visit. With so many choices of things to do year round! Our place resides on the Waccamaw Neck bike way, which is over18 miles of paved multiple purpose trail used for walking, cycling and hiking. We are walking distances to restaurants, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating , fishing swimming etc.

A piece of Heaven on Earth!

Shug and Mack were awesome hosts. We had everything we needed and more! The VRBO was incredibly comfortable and as a plus is decorated with many pieces of art made by Shug and other local artists.

Great place to wind down.

A beautiful property, close to restaurants and beaches. It was so beautiful and very pet friendly with the owner’s two friendly dogs being so welcoming also. We only stayed two short nights on our trip from Michigan to Florida. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Cozy beach themed home. We enjoyed sitting outside and even grilled some fish one night. Walking distance to a few restaurants and an easy bike ride to Marsh Walk. Would stay again. Thanks for everything!

The place is super cute and has a really nice fenced in area. Our dogs loved it! There is a nice little park on the opposite side of the street. There’s a great restaurant called Graham’s that has amazing shrimp and grits! The family who own the property are great!

this was a lovely place on the Marsh in Murrells Inlet. Easy to get to the bypass for restaurants, shopping and visiting friends. Shug provided a pass to the state parks which are nearby.

Very cozy and comfortable space! Enjoyed the location, walkable to a few bars/restaurants. Appreciated the pup could join us and he had plenty of outdoor space. Comfy bed, 10/10 recommend!

Great Getaway

We drove 1100+ miles from Maine to beat the cold weather. My wife and I and our two dogs and one cat enjoyed 3 weeks on the NC coast. Pet friendly, scenic views, restaurants in easy walking distance. We would definately come again.

A cozy hidden gem

I highly recommend staying at Shug’s shack. Amazing location in Murrells Inlet, close to all the restaurants and marsh walk. Great place for our 2 dogs. Fenced in patio and yard. Tons of beautiful art in this cozy spot. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!
