Unique place, clean and tidy. No lifts just stairs. Very noisy when entertainment is happening downstairs. Good & enjoyable food.

Stayed 3 nights in Oct. Room was small, no sitting chairs, nice bath with a walk in shower. Kettle only with instant coffee, tea provided. Small fridge and hot plate all in nice condition. Review comments are real - one end of the building has bar/smoker noise, the other has the kitchen exhaust, the front has street noise. Balcony rooms are near the kitchen exhaust, which runs from 9a to nearly 9p. Balcony looks out on the wall behind building & parking lot. Close to options of beach, walking, bike trail. Decent but not great due to size and noise. Value stay in an interesting area.

Such an excellent hotel! I ended up staying two nights while I explored the region (Brunswick Heads, Mullumbimby) and rode the rail trail, because it was such a clean, comfortable, service oriented hotel. And for good value with safe parking too! They understand bikepackers and have an excellent kitchen. The staff were amazing!! Really pleased and thankful for my stay here.

Very friendly staff. Nice clean room and nicely renovated old style hotel, with modern amenities but still kept the old style flavour of the hotel. Was particularly impressed that the hotel had a single room for a single only at a good price.
