"Very wonderful small & clean hotel. Service is excellent! Very friendly and easy to communicate to staff. Most of the staff can speak english. Even though the hotel is right by Fuchu station, the hotel is very quiet. This is my second stay and we will be back for sure! Arigato Keyaki Gate!"
"The staff was nice but the facility is old and moldy everywhere. We couldn’t find any other hotels that were available to we stayed but I don’t think I would stay there again because of how old and moldy it was. "

"The owners were so enjoyable, they only spoke broken English but we were able to converse. The facility is a traditional Japanese inn, so sitting in the floor and sleeping on futon. Suggest using two futon if you are not so l used to sleeping in the floor. The air conditioning was great cause it was hot outside. Really close walk to Don Quijote and many shops, markets and food, 6 minute walk. Musashi Koganei station and area around have so much, Muji, Daiso, H&M.. Easy train ride into Tokyo, although the Chuo line does get crowded."
"I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it.
If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note.

10/10 Excellent
"We had a great stay at Hayshida’s independent house! He was very prompt and helpful in all communications, from our initial inquiry through to check-in and check-out.The location is convenient—Kokubunji Station is only 15 minutes from Shinjuku, making it a good base for exploring Tokyo and beyond. Just keep in mind that it’s about a 15–20 minute walk from the house to the station, as the host accurately noted. The house is clean and functional, with a washer/dryer which came in very handy. As other guests have mentioned, the staircase to the second floor is quite steep, and the bathroom being on the first floor may not be ideal for everyone.A couple of small suggestions—adding a comfortable couch in the living room and providing a few more dishes and utensils would make the stay even better.Overall, a solid, budget-friendly option in the Tokyo suburbs. We’d definitely recommend it!"
