"It was a one night stay for us breaking a journey by car from north Italy to Calais. There is only parking for maybe two very small cars but we parked in a public car park âLa Marieâ which was a five minute walk and extremely reasonable at âŹ2 overnight. Our room was ok and the little balcony with its cheery table and chairs was sweet. The public areas (staircase/tiny reception) are tired. Good location off one of the main shopping streets. "

"This motel-style place is quite worn and in need of re-furbishment. August- restaurant closed but bar drinks available! Sitting on the terrace was like sitting in a dirty ashtray- smelled terrible.
Room was basic but bed was clean. Reception on arrival very helpful. Unfortunately in the morning area smelled of cannabis. Would not stay here again "
