"First of all, Expedia was useless, we had an issue on check-in because I received a late notification of the required deposit and the helpline was automated. "I liked this small and quirky hotel. The 3 rooms on the top floor with terraces are best, and although I was not given the larger room I was promised, my much smaller room was very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The seating and view from the terrace were wonderful. An added plus is that the hotel is located a stone's throw from the train and bus stations, and a short walk to the historic center. All in all, a good stay."

"It looks like that hotel has been around for a while and got bought up by Best Western because it doesn’t have the standardized vibe you’d expect (can be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for). The sign at the entrance says 4 stars, but it isn’t a 4 star. It’s a 3. Having said that, it’s very good value for the price. We had a seaside room with a big terrace and colourful bougainvillae. Clean room and welcoming common areas, really friendly staff who went out of their way to be of service. Good pizza place right around the corner and nice boardwalk a short walk away. Longer walk to city center and train station but there are buses and even a free tourist train. We enjoyed our stay."

"The breakfast was comprehensive and included hot items. I purchased it for the three nights I stayed for 15 Euro each day. I paid up front and in hindsight I wish I’d paid by the day. Toulon has some wonderful bakeries open for breakfast, and they aren’t far of a walk from the hotel. I selected the hotel for its location which turned out to be great! The train station and port were short walks away. The staff were welcoming and friendly and spoke English well. I don’t think my room had air conditioning as I tried to get that working on the wall unit but could not. It didn’t matter as I didn’t need it anyway. I was there in early April with very pleasant temperatures. My window also opened to allow a fresh breeze to blow in. Overall I liked the hotel and would book there again! C’est tres bien! "
