"Staff at the Curtis were all fabulous and very helpful. We had breakfast and it was excellent. Room was spacious and freshly renovated but we had some maintenance issues which would need to be addressed: The AC unit was very noisy and screeched in the middle of the night; in the shower the temperature control would sometimes change while you were showering going from perfect temperature to freezing cold (small adjustment on the lever required I suspect) and the courtesy safe was not attached anywhere so could just be lifted out and carried away with all contents inside! We loved the location for access to the convention centre and a short walk to 16th street with all the great bars and restaurants. The elevators/lifts were a bit weird and sometimes they would stop on every single floor (other guests shared the same experiences) - apparently something to do with them not being synched together - guessing this is a tough one for the hotel to fix so some patience required at times. All in all, very fair pricing for the location, staff service and money paid - just a couple maintenance issues that need addressing in the room we occupied. We would stay there again on another visit to Denver."

"Our entire experience at The Oxford Hotel was first class. From my call just prior to arrival to confirm early check-in and then as we walked in the door 45 minutes later, Coco was outstanding! She remembered me and was very helpful in detailing all sorts of information to assist us with our stay. When we got to the room, it was lovely, clean and very welcoming, including the half-bottle of J Pinot Noir we received as part of the Expedia VIP reservation. The room had everything we needed and was VERY spacious! Later, Bailey was exceptional in helping us with other details, as well as the bourbon tasting, and then getting us a wine cooler (and ice!!), as well as nicer wine glasses than those already in the room to enjoy a bottle that we had purchased elsewhere, and truly could not have done anything to be more accommodating, proactive and intent on making sure our experience was the very best it could be. Out front, Stuart and his teammate whose name I don't recall, were wonderful! Stuart has such enthusiasm and love of the Oxford Hotel, and it flows through to how he takes care of his guests. As a hospitality professional myself, I truly cannot say enough about EVERYONE at this property. They all know the meaning of hospitality, and really make it personal. We also had an amazing experience at both The Cruise Room and the Urban Farmer for happy hour. We only had 24 hours in Denver, and they wer truly memorable thanks to everyone at The Oxford Hotel. Cheers to all of you!"

"The overnight rate for the valet is $59, so don't be surprised like I was. Public parking is across the street, but I didn't want to use it at night. The valet called me three times at 7 a.m. to ask if I had the key to my car: I couldn't get to the phone quickly enough to answer the first two times. I had left the key with the valet, so the call was totally unnecessary and totally unwelcome at 7 a.m. The air conditioning unit went on and off every five minutes all night no matter what temperature I set it at. I was in Denver for a medical procedure and need my sleep more than usual, but was awake most of the night from the on-and-off a.c. I have never stayed at a Hyatt with one smaller and softer pillow than the others on the bed. It was like sleeping with a bed roll for a pillow. The location is downtown, so if you aren't used to traffic noise, you're unlikely to get a good night's sleep unless the a.c. is running constantly - not on and off at five-minute intervals. Won't stay there again."

"If you’re staying here to go to a Rockies game, then you’ll have to walk on the bridge over the railroad tracks to get there. Lots of stairs or wait for elevators at the train bridge. Nice restaurant and bar. Very modern and clean. "
