"My family and I spent 5 days at this lovely place. Casole D’Elsa is a short walk up the hill and a great place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant on site is a gem with terrific food. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the location allowed for easy drives to a variety of Tuscan towns on the tourist map. We enjoyed our stay!"

"Traumhaft schöne Anlage, freundliches Personal, das uns jedoch beim Checkin lange hat warten lassen, da wir zu früh waren, Zimmer war jedoch sicherlich schon lange fertig, da sehr muffig. Unser Zimmer in der Casa Vittoria war sehr hellhörig, hatte abgenutzte Möbel und roch immer etwas muffig. Keine Möglichkeit nasse Badesachen aufzuhängen. Dusche nicht einstellbar, kalt oder heiß. Pools eigentlich sehr schön, aber immer schon vor dem Frühstück mit Handtüchern besetzt, viel zu wenig Liegen, dafür...

Typical farmhouse with private pool between Pisa and Siena

We loved La Columbaie

"The setting in the Tuscan countryside was amazing. A very charming historic Farmhouse. The hosts were so kind and charming. The pool was beautiful and refreshing. The kitchen was very useful for home cooking. Despite high heat outside, we could close the shutters and windows and keep the house cool until the evening. The night air in the country was so cool to sleep in. A very authentic rural place. We were able to drive to busy sites around Tuscany and then come home to a peaceful and quiet country house. The house was wonderful and the hosts were especially good to us. I very highly recommend it."

Wonderful stay with beautiful views

"We had such a lovely week. The house was amazing and the host was so helpful. We had two local ladies come and make a feast - definitely have them bring the local wine and dessert. Watching the sunset above the pool was wonderful and the ping pong table was a big hit with our teens. Getting there was a little tough and it was a little far away from some of the places we wanted to visit- not because they were far, but due to the winding roads that slow travel. To get there we mapped to the agritourism down the road then kept going into the gravel road and when there is a split with a lot of signs make a hard left and you can see the house with blue shutters at the end of the lane."
