Modern Rustic Cabin – Whispering Pines, Wildlife, Trails, 5-Acres & Starry Skies

10/10 Excellent
"Our family of four stayed in late July 2026. From pre-trip communication to check in and check out, we could not have been happier. The home itself is beautiful, seated with a view of the San Francisco peaks and tucked just a few minutes from the downtown area. We were in a private beautiful area surrounded by the forest, yet just a short jump from all the action downtown Flagstaff offers. The house is equipped with modern appliances, great lighting and outdoor areas, and comfortable couches chairs and beds. The house was among the cleanest we have ever experienced and our host left helpful tips for what to do in the area. We will absolutely return. We give this home our highest recommendation, no notes!"

"Quaint Garden Cottage- relaxing, quiet and safe atmosphere with an inspirational hostess. Wonderful neighborhood to wander through to the park and trails. We did get a bit warm the first night as there is no air conditioning, but the windows open with a provided fan helped for our second night. Would recommend to my closest <3"

"Such a comfortable stay. I am so thankful we could bring the dogs. Back of property completely fenced in, even good for a tiny dog with a deck under the trees, they loved it out there and were safe. Upstairs kitchen with bedroom and down stairs bedroom have separate entrances. Down stairs enters through garage just fyi. We had everything we needed. Definitely we would come back. The neighborhood is quiet and great for walking in the tall pines."

Quiet, Beautiful One Bedroom

Quiet, Beautiful One Bedroom

"The absolute best rental for travelers bringing their dogs to Flag! My husband, 2 dogs (with prior permission from owners), and myself booked this unit for a quick reprieve from the summer heat in the Valley, and this was by far the best rental we have used bringing our pups along. Not only is the unit quite large and wonderfully appointed for a one bedroom apartment, it had dog specific comforts like dog bowls, a dog bed, toys AND A FENCED IN YARD! No need for early morning or late night bathroom walks, you can just open up the door and safely let them out to the spacious front yard to the unit. It was also incredibly nice to let the dogs run around outside while we sat in chairs to enjoy the beautiful cooler temps that we came for. We will absolutely be renting this unit again, and thank you to the owners for having such a dog friendly place to stay! Families that travel with their beloved dogs really appreciate this added touch."

"My dog, Pippa, and I escaped the Valley heat for a couple of days and had the best time. We spent almost all of our stay in the beautiful backyard! Between the pleasant temperatures, gentle breeze, and a little rain, it was absolutely perfect. The yard is incredibly secure with a tall wooden fence, making it an ideal spot for Pippa to enjoy the soft green grass. The tall pine trees provided excellent afternoon shade, and we loved watching the squirrels play. I really enjoyed relaxing on the tree swing, and the blooming flowers, firepit, and grill were wonderful touches. Inside, it's a true "home away from home." The furniture is exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen is stocked with practically everything you could need to cook. We hope to return in the fall!"
