"We arrived late but Cindy was there to greet us and give us our key and overview of the property. She was also there at the excellent breakfast and chatted with us about her life in Iceland and gave us recommendations for things to do in the area. We saw whales from the pier and walked along the quiet beach. Overall an excellent stay."

"Basic room, clean and modern. Shared bathroom was down stairs. Breakfast was delicious.lovely fjord location. Wish the room had a TV as it is relaxing to match a movie at night when on holidays."

"This apartment was perfect for our stay. The neighborhood is very walkable with dining spots just a 5-10 minute walk away. The views are gorgeous and we loved waking up here each morning. The apartment was very clean. The host communicates clearly and responded to our messages very promptly. This apartment has a full kitchen. The bathroom even has a laundry washing machine. This space was perfect for our 3 day trip exploring the northern reaches of Iceland. Highly recommend for future travelers."

"Unfortunately the owner was unable to accommodate us, but did not communicate this with us. Only when we arrived and found it dark/closed up and reached out to him did we find out. He was very apologetic, but this lack of communication left us scrambling for a place to stay and an extra hour of driving. Not ideal. "
