We were about 15 minutes from the resort when the property manager phoned to say there had been a leak the night before in the unit above ours, and the ceiling in our shower had to be cut out and dried out; that a maintenance person would be out the next morning to make the repairs. The maintenance person was very nice but after two visits, it was not repaired. What bothered me the most is the debris that had dropped down into the shower floor, onto the shower walls & glass doors, was not cleaned up. I didn't realize stepping into the shower before getting ready for bed. I had to clean it myself. There was not enough seating in the living room-Our unit had one small sofa and an uncomfortable chair. The toilet paper holder in the hall bathroom was so loose that it fell in the floor. The hall bathroom door was so narrow, my mother's rollator would not fit. Saturday evening there was a lot of yelling and running down the hallway. Without an onsite manager, who do you call when there are problems like that? I stayed at this resort 12 years ago in Building A. I recall then that the Tower was very nice. It definitely showed its age now. The seal on the patio doors was breached so that you couldn't see out of all of it. On a positive note, there was a very nice woman working there who was extremely friendly, always smiling and greeting us. The grounds and the pool were nice.
