Let’s start off and say when you pulled up to the property, it had a dumpster outside with beds inside of them like signs of bedbugs. When you walk in the entrance of the hotel walls were dirty floors were broken. Room did not have any linen. Had to wait on towers. had no view, view of a parking lot next-door. jacuzzi and one of the pools was not operating. Just Bad

Ehhhh. Aside from the tick in my room, wonky smell in the hallways, hair on my towels, slightly busted room with major construction going on next door (literally next door), I’d say this place is good for the price. Ocean view for $130, not too shabby.

Hotel was terrible walls were torn up elevator was filthy. Those pictures listed are a shame it looks nothing like pictures shown. Never stayed went to check in lobby and parking lot off putting. Barely greeted. Ask to see a room I was sceptical and I said I wouldn't let a dog stay there. Contacted Expedia they were unable to contact the hotel was charged for one night. Had to make reservations elsewhere

My husband and I booked a last minute trip for our anniversary about a week & a half ahead. We got an oceanfront king suite (two balconies, full kitchen, living room, king bed, two TVs) for a wonderful price. The check in process was easy, with our room ready right on time. They are renovating, but nothing that caused any major hiccups in our stay. Some parking is blocked off in the garage, but there are spacious lots diagonally across the street. We did luck out and got handicap parking in the garage 6/7 of our days (my husband is an amputee). The room was very spacious, and the AC worked excellent. The room did have some typical wear and tear, but it was very clean. The elevators were never jam packed and moved quickly. The pools (2 pools, lazy river) were well maintained and never over crowded. The hot tub is closed for renovations, but this wasn’t something we cared to use in 95 degrees anyways! The beach access was very convenient. Shorlanda was absolutely FABULOUS. She was so polite, always greeted guests, and we saw her all over the hotel making sure things were going smoothly. Any time I saw her dealing with an issue, she handled it so calm and professionally. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in general! We’ve been to Myrtle many times and have stayed many places, and this would be a repeat stay for sure! As a couple just there to enjoy relaxation and some fun in the sun, this was easily 10/10!

When we arrived at the resort it was 5 pm. I knew that they were doing renovations so I expected that. But the parking for check-in was unaccommodating to say the least. Apon entering the lobby it was a bit of a let down, but if you walk further in past the lobby there is potential, you can see that it is a work in progress. After checking in we parked across the street. Again I read the reviews and this was expected. When I got up to my room after the 20 minutes it took to check in and park and walk I came to my room... It was actively being cleaned at 5:20PM. I said no problem I will talk to the front desk. When I spoke to the front desk they told me to wait in the lobby, I said no thank you it's an hour after check-in please accommodate me and my family with small children. So they switched my room without enthusiasm. After entering my new room the floors were visibly filthy. Like I said I was not expecting anything luxurious but I most definitely was not expecting visible dirt and sand on the floor. The bathroom toilet was visibly dirty. I cleaned the floors and toilet with the cleaning supplies that I brought from home and let me tell you the floors were black! I checked out on the morning of the 16th. I was assured on the night of the 15th that I would only be charged for the night. I was reassured on the morning of the 16th that I was being checked out and not charged and I called back on the 17th and was assured again that I would not be charged. Lies I was charged!

This hotel was nasty. Nothing like the pictures. It is old and they are remodeling, but it is trashy. Could not get in the pool one day because of the filth in the pool. Hair all over the room, in the bed, on the floor. The staff were very nice though! They were always there to help: I just will never stay there again.

Stay was good not really to many complaints....Bring your own floats or inner tube for lazy river...If you wanna cook bring your own pots and pans heck an air fryer if you can....Rooms are clean enough to stay beds are new an do have mattress cover which made me happy just bring your own cleaning products....there is construction going on didnt' really impact our stay at all....pool towels are at desk we didn't know this until day 3.....there was to much chlorine in one of the pools but there is 3 so that didn't impact us other than my cover up getting bleached went from black to an black an brown tye dye....great access to beach....My biggest problem was the Manager She has 0 customer service skills and she is rude....she wears a suit if you book there...She literally saw me with 2 hands full of groceries in front of elevator one of the team members was holding door for her she came around the corner with a cart that's used for luggage she had what it looked night stands so it was furniture she bypass me did not speak didn't offer for me to get on first or gave me the elevator... she puts the cart in there at this point its full I'm still standing there she states to the worker "she can get on if she wanna" as If I'm standing there...Never Ever should employees jump the guest....Other than we had a great stay my room attendant was cool an extremely helpful he is from Jamaica cant remember his name......And we also ended up adding another day....I say its a go for my family

The partial ocean view was not what I was hoping for the balcony was just a little triangle and you have to lean over to see the partial view. Towels were hard to come by. Some of the staff was super friendly. We had one staff member that was maybe a little less than but it didn’t spoil the trip. They do seem to be going through renovations right now, so I’ll be interested to see if it’s a little bit nicer next year. It’s a good spot for a pool close to the ocean and just to leave your stuff and sleep. But so was the hotel down the street that was about 60 bucks cheaper a night.

The check-in process was smooth thanks to Satya at the front desk. He was welcoming, professional, and provided all the information needed for our stay. Parking was conveniently located across the street. The property is dated and currently undergoing renovations. While we received the room we booked, the photos on the website do not accurately represent the rooms in person. Although the room was spacious, it did not meet basic cleanliness standards. The bedding, towels, shower curtain, and bathroom walls had visible stains, and the floors appeared unswept. My party and I had to clean the room ourselves. Once we cleaned the room, the remainder of the stay was manageable. The highlights of the stay were the beautiful ocean view and the convenient beach access. Unfortunately, our experience with General Manager Shorlanda Fletcher overshadowed our visit. She accused us of throwing eggs from our balcony based solely on statements from other guests who could not provide any description of the individuals involved and only gave an estimated location. Her approach was aggressive, accusatory, and unprofessional. She attempted to intimidate us by stating law enforcement would respond, then left us waiting until after midnight without any follow-up or resolution. We were later informed she was scheduled to work the next day but had called out. Due to the handling of this situation and the lack of professionalism displayed, I will be filing a formal complaint.

They were renovating a lot. It says they have a bar but they do not. The commons area was also shut down and being renovated. The beds weren’t too comfy and were left with just sheets to sleep with. Other than that the stay was awesome for the cheap price and the pools were great to cool off in from my terrible sunburn lol.

I stayed at Palette Resort in Myrtle Beach from July 10–12, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The resort was under construction, but there was little guidance during check-in. There was no parking available at the front of the hotel, so we had to park across the street just to check in. When we walked into the lobby, the staff didn't greet us or make us feel welcome. We booked a two-bedroom suite, but it only had one TV, which wasn't very convenient for a family. The hotel also had an unpleasant smell throughout, and the pool didn't appear to be cleaned regularly during our stay. The living room had very limited seating, making it uncomfortable for everyone to relax together. Another issue was that the room phones didn't work, and there were signs saying the bar was open, but it never actually was. Overall, this stay did not meet my expectations. Between the construction, lack of cleanliness, poor communication, and disappointing amenities, I would not choose to stay here again. This was my first stay at Palette Resort, and it will also be my last.
