The place had a perfect location, A block from the beach, a block from coffee shops , restaurant and not busy on the beach as other areas. This is ideal for any family that wants to spend a week at the beach with everything close. Very recommended.

We had a very pleasant stay at Sun Fun! The staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s clearly been renovated with nice new furniture and the bathroom looked brand new. Everything was clean and it looked like the staff was available all day on the property. We felt very safe staying here and would definitely come back in the future!

This place was absolutely horrible. Staff was lazy.they were more interested in eating there dinner than checking in customers.pool looked nice. Got a room with a small kitchen,but no plates, o,no cooking racks in the oven. Stay away

You can tell it has been recently renovated. The room was quite lovely and smelled very clean (almost a bit too much, that overly clean chemical smell but it was appreciated) We booked the king suite that comes with the extra bedroom with two full beds. In that room there wasn't a remote to control the ac but it wasn't that big of a deal as I don't like it super cold, tho may be an issue for others obviously. There is no on site staff after or before a certain hour which is a bit strange. In addition to the room charge you are asked to give $100 deposit that was not mentioned on the site but I get it. In case something tears up or is damaged. You get it back after the staff inspects the room before check out which was supposed to happen at 9 but staff didn't arrive until right before checkout so you can't leave even a minute sooner if you had to. Despite signs saying no smoking (of any kind) the entire area outside the rooms smelled like weed and there were cigarette butts and beer bottles scattered around. I give grace because they are clearly in the midst of renovating and there is so much construction going on around it but you have to navigate road closures just to get to it. The room 9/10, the outside 3/10. I may consider staying here again but maybe once all reno is complete.

Located 1 block away parallel to the beach, Sun Fun Motel is a great location for beach, boardwalk, event facility, restaurants within walking distance. Room cleanliness was so-so. Full kitchen was useful to cook meals so I didn’t have to eat out much. Wish there was a jacuzzi on property. Initially, I was concerned about the area the hotel is located. Since reservation was non-changeable and non-refundable, I stayed. I stayed 21 nights plus 2 more when we needed to extend our stay. Additional 2 nights were more expensive than the fair cost value for the place but I spent the $ for convenience. I was surprised when manager would not agree to a discount of the higher additional 2 nights cost to stay. After staying 21 days, one would think if there aren’t any local events and motel is not sold out, the manager would offer discount for the 2 additional nights, especially when the motel room rate for 2 more nights was much higher than actual value of the room and property.

Staff was friendly, neighbors were friendly, super good location and price. Would stay there again if I needed to go to Myrtle beach. If you are an old bougie person who is easily annoyed by the existence of other people I wouldn’t recommend bc people are happily living their lives there (didn’t bother me at all) but I can see some stuck up people causing problems or being annoyed or complaining

Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. There were packets to make coffee, but a coffee pot would have been nice. Hotel rooms and pool area were very clean. Most of the mess out back seems to be from adjacent property, but staff works well to keep everything clean. I would stay again next time in Myrtle

It was not what the pictures look like online, there was very limited parking spaces, the pool looked dirty, we did not get it in, the bedroom did not have a door to it, but overall the rooms were clean and beds was comfortable and if we needed anything the staff was there in a timely manner.

Staff was great. Building is a little rough around the edges but seemed to be cleaned. I would definitely stay there again. Is it the best place in Myrtle? No. But we felt comfortable the whole time.
