The Ellie is an older updated hotel. It used to be Springmaid, where we stayed quite often. They have done well with the upgrades and maintaining the property. Good location, have to get used to the airplane traffic for the airport. Easy access to parking, room, and beach. We would stay there again.

We stayed at The Ellie for the first time last weekend. It was fantastic! The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was really big, decorated beautifully and super clean. The amenities are top notch. There are 3 large waterslides, a family pool, kiddie pool, adult pool and lazy river. Also has an indoor pool, workout room, 18 hole mini golf, several resturants and access to the pier with your room key. Great place for couples and families alike. I highly recommend you check it out.

The whole staff was welcoming and helpful. It was the greatest experience. Excellent customer service is a rarity, and they have it down to an artform. The waterslide is a big plus too. Rooms were perfect.

Nice location, friendly staff, loved the adult pool area and guest were friendly as well. Wish the pool bar would stay open later than 5. Our bathroom had hair everywhere from previous guest. Housekeeping came and cleaned it right away. The live music was a nice touch!!
