The hotel is good as long as you’re expecting to get what you’re paying for. It’s a budget hotel with no frills. It’s directly beach adjacent which is very nice, and the pools were clean, if a bit small. Parking was easy and the hotel is conveniently located to dining and attractions

The properties in a pretty great location. Lots of traffic in and out of the parking lot because they have paid parking right next to the parking for the hotel. If you have a vehicle make sure it's secured because there are some unsavaries walking about. The staff are very nice people I enjoyed my stay.

Originally I had a completely different property booked but then property canceled and placed us into this one. On our arrival the hotel and the surrounding area were very sketchy multiple police vehicles in and out continuously! Through out the evening. Our first night was interesting we left for dinner and came back with a giant leak over the toilet the room itself was very dirty and un kept stains in bed and bed sheets. We then request management to relocate us to a new room which they did with no problems. The new room was much better cleaner and nicer. Not worth $1292 I paid for three days much better options out there. Good view of the beach and the pool

The hotel is right on the beach, it's tough to beat that, especially if you get an ocean facing room. It's a pretty killer view. The hotel itself is very old and run down. The furniture is in various states of disrepair and the bathroom is very outdated. BUT, you're right at the beach and again, if you get an ocean facing room, dynamite view.

Beach front

It’s right on the beach so that was nice .pool was warm ,we did find two roaches and people was outside at 1am letting off fireworks right by the rooms.lots of people hanging out didn’t really feel safe.the price was the cheapest we found ..it had a stove but no dishes was told there’s a Walmart down the road.

This is my very first trip to Myrtle Beach and I'm 67. The staff here has been great. After an 11 hour drive and it being night I can hear the ocean and see the waves breaking on the beach from the balcony. I will be back!

It's an okay place

We stayed two nights, in two different rooms. When we checked in we went to our room, walked in and it was already someone else's room 😂 no biggie for us, we know mistakes happen. The first night in the first room there was a lot of moisture in the air, even the bed and pillows felt wet. The next morning I discovered mold on the pillow I had slept on and mold all on the wall and floor. The second room was good! It could have been cleaned better but it was good enough. The front desk staff is super nice, let us check in early. Police were there 5 different times in the 2 days we were there. There are some questionable people around there.

This place was horrible! They had a sign that said No Refunds! We made the best of it but we departed earlier because I couldn’t take it anymore. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone!

Suspicious but affordable

Outside needs an upgrade, pool area isn't very secure and was dirty with trash everywhere. Whole hotel felt kinda shady with the amount of people just hanging around outside staring at you, and random cars going in an out all day. Inside of our room was clean, what looked like new flooring, and plenty of space.

The guy who runs the place is amazing. He was super sweet and upgraded us a suite room from our standard king for free! The location on the beach was the best part for us. The worst would be all of the people that would walk around, clearly dealing drugs, at all hours of the night. It sucks because it definitely doesn’t feel very safe in that area and twilight surf has alot of potential to be a 5 star place. If they could get rid of the drug dealing, I’d be willing to bet they would thrive. Staff is super friendly too and always appears to be working hard. Overall we had a wonderful get away, and I want to thank the man behind the counter- he was absolutely kind. I really hope that the people around there don’t take the business down!

The lady in the office was very accommodating concerning the fact that we have difficulty with stairs. We had booked for 4 people, however, 2 backed out on us. They would not change the price for that and my receipt still says 4 guests. No, there were only 2 of us. Said because the room has 2 beds. There was no outlet in the bathroom. Just fyi, No hair dryer nor coffee pot provided. Luckily, I brought my own. I cleaned the dirty microwave, no big deal. No bugs at all in our room. Bed linens were clean. Bathroom was clean. I would stay there again.

OK for single or the young couple

Not good for the family. Too many homeless people were around, they were keep coming in and out of the hotel property. Found some roaches and let the manager know but he said that roaches were coming out because of the bug spray was performed by the exterminator earlier. These properties make a lot of money from their costumers but they cannot spend some to make enjoyable for them. In short, go somewhere else other than the Myrtle Beach. I thing the whole area has become a slum because of the drug dealers and poor liberal minded management. Drugs have multiplied homelessness in the area. People go to tourist spots to relax and enjoy but this trip left a bad taste.

If you want an inexpensive, bare bones older property right on the beach, this is it. Although the room has a kitchenette, no cooking supplies are provided. No cups, utensils, pots, pans or cleaning supplies. Room came with one frying pan. Not even a coffee maker or plastic cups in the bathroom. No broom to sweep up the inevitable sand that will get in your room. Room service must be on demand because my room was not serviced. A/C units are newer and kept the room cool. Mattress was comfortable. Sheets and pillow cases seemed clean. If you walk in the room barefoot, your feet will get black from the dirt on the floor. Plenty of parking and pool was clean.

First, the drawbacks. At check-in, the woman behind the plexiglass was unsmiling and barely communicative. At check-out, no one was to be found. For a room that sleeps eight, I would've expected more towels to be available. They don't seem to have adequate parking for the size of the property. Now, the positives: The bathroom was clean, the a/c (though hard to reach, making adjustments difficult) blew good and cold, each bedroom had a wall-mounted fan, the pillows were not flat, and the bed was (shockingly) one of the best I've slept on in any motel. The only other thing I'll say is just to be aware that although the room does have a fridge and stove, nothing else is provided, not even a coffeemaker.
