"I arrive and there’s no one at the front seat. A written sign says to “knock on door”‘which I do for several minutes. I then resort to yelling “hello, anyone here?” This goes on for 10 mins. I then call the hotel and the phone that rings is at the desk where I am standing. Finally some an employee walks through the door after “getting sone fresh air” He gives me my keys, drive around to the back to Door C, keys don’t work. Drive back to front desk only to get accused of putting the keys agains my phone. I know better, told him I did not. Get new set of keys, again they don’t work. Drive back to front desk. Employee meets me at door and tells me the door reader is inop. Mind you this is happening at 11pm. I would rather sleep in a box than stay here again Oh and the room reeked like cigs and the carpet was damp, ewwww."

"Hotel was clean room was nice and clean! Pool was small looked bigger in pics online. Great location right across street from aquarium and mystic village shops. Near restaurants and Starbucks and a Dunkin’ depending on your choice."

"Room was a delight. The jet tub was such a nice feature as well as having the extremely comfy bed! I could have rested happily in the room and pool easily the whole trip, it was so nice. The only thing the room could have had was a fridge/microwave."

"Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Room was clean with nice bedding. The bathroom was clean with nice body wash, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Plenty of towels! The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the Mystic area and Groton. A variety of restaurants nearby."

"There is significant construction going on for renovations, so it’s in pretty bad shape and it’s very noisy. Staff said it’s stated on the website and other places that it’s under construction, but we did not/ do not see that anywhere. The pool and the room were fine. The “main desk” is a series of folding tables in a dumpy area, and breakfast is grab-to-go cereals and some bagels with a garbage toaster. If we’d known of its conditions, we would never have stayed here. Construction noises and intense and vibrate whatever area you’re in. Definitely not worth it! They should have closed for renovations, and it seems clear that they’re hiding that info from potential customers, so people don’t know this is going on until they get there. And charging full and expensive prices! Totally ridiculous. "
