Historic seaport charm comes alive at Mystic Seaport Museum where you can climb aboard tall ships and watch craftspeople at work. Families love the beluga whales at Mystic Aquarium, while downtown's drawbridge opens hourly for boats heading to excellent seafood restaurants.
The cottage on the water is truly immaculate and relaxing, from the wonderful decor to top notch cleanliness, we were so happy that we get to celebrate our 10 years anniversary weekend here. Very quiet and private, highly recommended

Great location and the hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Thought the price was high for the time of year (mid- Oct). We were just there for a night so I thought it was crazy that we had to pay a resort fee considering the restaurant was not open and we were told we had to be out by 11:00am because they were closing the hotel for the week. Other than that the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Once we pulled into the driveway, we felt the stress of the real world melt away. Jodie made us feel at home.from the second we checked in. We stayed in the 1807 house and was not disappointed, as a fan of the old time craftsmanship of.the early homes. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast each morning was perfect, not too much of a portion where you felt stuffed, and Scott cooked things perfectly. The 1807 house does not have TVs in the room but the wifi is strong and easily solved with...

From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are made to feel at home, like family. We love it so much no words can express how much we love our stay at House of 1833 with Evan.

Easily my favorite hotel! Biggest perk for me was that the indoor pool was ACTUALLY warm. So many hotels say heated pool and it is still too cold for my family. This one was perfect temperature–we even brought our 4-month-old in! And there was a movie playing at the pool too! The hotel is also directly across from the aquarium and shops. The staff was all wonderful. And it is very affordable for such a well decorated and clean hotel!
