3. Secluded Mountaintop Retreat – Rustic Luxury & Panoramic Views at Freedom Farm

New Milford

"We camped at Freedom Farm and enjoyed the secluded woods setting for our tent. Everything was clean and well prepared for our stay, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It is beautifully situated and is a short drive from some excellent hiking and biking in nearby state parks. I think a couple of things, though, could be improved. The tent was set up on an incline, which made sleeping a bit less comfortable than it might have been. I would recommend that the hosts build a level platform...

Top Connecticut Hotel Reviews

The Fox Tower at Foxwoods

8/10 Good

"I used to go with my aunt years ago! Between the outlet stores and the pool was very enjoyable! Heavy rains and our glass window was licking water! I forgot to mention to the maintenance because I complained without coffee maker in the room! But it was in the closet!"

Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton

10/10 Excellent

"This property in Mystic was just perfect for us as we were only spending one nite there. We got there late after traveling to Boston & wanted to spend the evening going to the Foxwoods casino for some fun & food. Very nice hotel! Again the easy breakfast included in the morning, a nice buffet offering great options! We were getting back on the road again to other cities in Maine so this was a great hotel for anyone looking to stay in Mystic. It was perfect!"
