"When I arrived after dark, it was hard to tell if I was at the right house. The bedroom was clean and quiet. Appears to be a shared bathroom but lucky one of the two bedrooms were vacant. Good for a quick stay."

"The house was beautiful! The innkeeper Amanda made an excellent breakfast and was friendly and knowledgeable about the property. The house renovations fit in with the period of the house, but provided modern convenience. It was a joy to stay there"

Thrill-seekers flock to Lake Compounce, America's oldest amusement park, for heart-pounding rides and refreshing water attractions. Golf enthusiasts can tee off at Hawks Landing Country Club, while history buffs explore the town's past at the Barnes Museum.
From the moment I arrived I knew my stay would be peaceful and comfortable. This is not a corporate, antiseptic hotel that could sit anywhere, this is a home.
The welcome is appreciated after a long day.

My wife and I loved this place. As we pulled up her mouth dropped and she instantly started to take pictures. Beautiful house and friendly staff. Great restaurant (The Charles) walking distance away.
