Quiet close to espn headquarters

Homewood Suites, was a wonderful stay. The location was perfect! For those coffee lovers, Dunkin Donuts is steps aways from the main entrance. Lake Compounce was very close, as well as Target for any last minute items. We also found a great bowling alley and arcade too! The rooms in Homewood Suites exceeded our expectation. They were very big, had a sitting area. We definitely will return!

I needed a room at the last minute to attend a funeral. There weren't many choices available when I was booking , but, this hotel had a few rooms left. After staying there, I don't know why this property wasn't sold out! Everything was spotless. Every staff member I encountered was polite and friendly, even saying "hello" and "good morning" while passing in the hallway (A big deal here in the northeast...). Their service was impeccable, needed a few items and they delivered it within minutes to our room. They served a hot breakfast with plenty of choices, such a pleasant way to start our day. Plenty of towels at the pool, every moment was relaxing and stress free.

This is a nice overall hotel. The area is quiet but there are a couple of restaurants nearby. Rooms are well-furnished and comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area.

I liked the distribution of the suite/studio, big enough to move around, have your own space and either sit at the desk to work, cook something or lay in the bed watching the TV that turns to any position in the room.

I liked this hotel. The area was quiet, the staff was professional and the hotel was clean. My only setback was the keycard kept having issues so I had to make trips to front desk. Apart from that, the stay was fine and I would go back. Parking was always available. The hotel sold bkfast and lunches, but also offered free coffee all day. There were food places, including fast foods and diners, that were literally 2‐4 minutes away which was very convenient for the stay.

Great staff and quiet room

Very clean room, comfortable beds. I like that the window opens a bit to let in fresh air.

I got in at 9:00 tonight, and check-in was a breeze! My room is way beyond awesome, I've not done any more than unpack, but I'm very impressed. I was born in Wallingford, so the reason I'm here is to rent a house and stay in the area, but I highly recommend this place to people visiting the Wallingford/Meriden area.
