"This is our preferred stay when visiting Kalamata - we've stayed here several times. Right on the water of the Messinean Gulf and a 10 minute drive from the historical centre of Kalamata. The hotel is spacious and spotlessly clean and the rooms and their balconies face directly out to the Bay. A delicious breakfast is served every morning on the vast patio overlooking the water and a wonderful way to start your day. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make sure their guests feel welcomed and valued. A lovely pool to relax by or step down for a swim in the water of the bay. I can highly recommend and can't wait to until we return again!"

"The staff are what makes the hotel so special. Nothing is too much trouble - we don’t drink coffee so a kettle was instantly provided. My partner is coeliac and for every meal there was a check in on what he wanted and then the kitchen made it separately. "So close to the mountains you feel like you can touch them from your room. This hotel is beautiful and has that upscale luxury feel to it with a full service spa. The word palace is in the name and it definitely belongs there. The lobby has a palatial feel with high ceilings and nicely upholstered furniture. The staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are huge and luxurious with nice amenities. This property gives you a resort feel and I could easily spend a week here. Its 5 minute drive from the ruins at mystra and into town which has everything. The property is a little difficult to get to due to typical tiny and twisting roads but is well worth the effort. They have their own olive Grove and what looks like a small ancient home in ruins on site. This is a special place serving luxury and that great Greek hospitality with excellent food. You need to stay here!"
