"I should say at the outset that we loved the location which was off the beaten tourist track around 1 hour north of Lisbon. The local beaches around Foz do Arelho are very accessible with a good selection of beachside cafes for lunch or dinner offering great local seafood dishes. Added to that is the proximity to a local indoor go-karting track kept the kids happy - the staff there were fantastic. "Sophie’s villa is simply amazing. It has all you need, perfect size and great condition. The views are so relaxing. The kids spent all day in the pool thanks to the heating system. Super close to the beach and lovely restaurants in Foz do Arelho. Perfect!"

"We stayed here with our 2 children and had the most wonderful time. The house, garden and pool area is lovely and spacious and very peaceful with beautiful views. Location is great 5 mins drive from the beach and 15 mins to larger town for supermarket etc. Jose was a fantastic host with great communication and very prompt to fix any issues that arose. We also had a wonderful experience with Carla who checked us in and lives locally so helpful and gave us loads of tips on great places to visit....

"Peaceful location with all we needed, with good access, by car, bus (during the week in winter) and foot to the lagoon and beach. Property owner and family close by were very friendly and helpful when we had any questions. Plenty of room for the children to run around."
