An absolutely beautiful stay in wonderful Nafplio! The view from the hotel was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable. The location of the hotel was perfect for walking everywhere and was removed from central downtown so it was quiet and peaceful for going to sleep!

Our stay at Aethra was good. The staff were helpful. We really liked that the location was in the old town area and thus very convenient to many things to do. The courtyard is also nice for breakfast. Our room was very spacious. That said, the breakfast itself could perhaps use an upgrade. Also, the shower in our bathroom was quite dangerous: the shower head was positioned so that it sprayed on the floor outside the shower stall, leading to very slippery conditions. (It's mentioned elsewhere that it takes many stairs to get to the entrance to the hotel, so we were prepared for that, but I would not recommend this hotel for those with mobility challenges.)

We stayed at the Aethra Boutique rooms for 9 nights. On arrival there was a friendly welcome and we were shown to our room. It was spacious with balconies, a desk area with kettle, TV, A/c, fridge (with water supplied each day), large comfy bed, side tables. The bathroom had a walk in shower with toiletries provided. The decor had an african design. It was all very clean. However the room lacked comfortable seating and it would have been good to have more space to store things such as drawers beside the bed rather than tables. The bathroom lacked hanging space and somewhere to stand toiletry items. The floor got very wet each time we showered. The location was perfect with a stairway into the old town. We came and went by bus so the stairs were a bit difficult then but fine the rest of the time. It was quiet overnight even though it was so central. There was a lovely terrace with gorgeous views and it was a nice place to sit for breakfast which was included. It provided a good start to the day and included fresh fruit and salad, fresh juice, yoghurt, meat and cheese, pastries, cooked eggs. Replenished by very friendly staff. The staff in all areas worked really hard. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would recommend this place.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever been in Greece. Excellent breakfast (the home-made jam was perfect), clean room, quiet location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The location is so good that it only takes 5 minutes to walk to bus stop and there’re many shops down the stairs outside the hotel, convenient to buy anything we need. What an enjoyable stay!

A fantastic all-around stay in Nafplio. I would stay here again and would recommend to anyone. The rooms are great with very comfortable beds and air conditioning, the staff is fantastic, and the daily breakfast is excellent with local and fresh-made products. The location is also fantastic! Can’t say enough good things.

I really really nice spot with fantastic views of the port. Our room was good with a dividing door but you still have to walk through a sleeping area to get to the bathrooms. But overall fantastic. Really really nice people. And Nafplio is amazing

Comfortable room, but extremely small. The shower took a while to warm up. No washcloths in the room - may be standard though. Staff was courteous. Breakfast was good - appreciate that they made the eggs fresh for every guest. Rooms are not soundproof as stated in their ad - we were right next to the main door and heard everyone coming and going.
