The rooms are clean and relatively spacious. Location super convenient to the train station. 15 minutes or so walk to main attractions is pleasant. Breakfast was enjoyable mix of Japanese and western. Evening sake tasting a nice touch.

The room was extremely clean and quiet, comfortable to get a good night's sleep in. The front desk staff were of course friendly, helpful, and professional. The hotel also provides nice amenities, including pastries and coffee, and even a free nihonshu ("sake") tasting.

The hotel was within walking distance from Nagano Station and had many food options nearby. The hotel and neighbourhood was quiet and we had a nice view of the mountains. Our room had the massage chair which was really great to use after a long day of walking and exploring. The room was big compared to rooms in Tokyo which was a pleasant surprise and we had a great stay.
