"Iāve stayed here multiple times when it was called the Sunshine Resort. Recently, they renovated this property and it is back to its original splendor. Definitely book an executive level room with the beach view and outdoor tub if you can. There is a free drink and appetizer lounge for executive level room customers and other perks. Ride the bikes around the island. Beautiful property and surroundings. "

This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

My husband and I stayed here two nights with other family members. Our room was a double bed and theirs was two twin beds. Their room was quite a bit larger than ours, so keep that in mind if youāre staying with someone else. The bed was firm and the pillows were very thin, but it was easy to get more from the amenities room. Staff members were very kind and helpful. Very quiet hotel near the airport and MCAS Iwakuni. The staff are friendly and helpful. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Plenty of parking available. They have a laundry on site as well.

Clean and modernized. I love how they give out amenities at the reception area. They even have an osen, only issue is that I needed to cover my tattoos (which is fine, I respect the culture - thankfully the reception desk gives out concealing stickers for your tattoos). Our first trip to Hiroshima, so obviously our first trip to this hotel. Great location, easy to walk to streetcar stops, convenience stores, Peace Center, restaurants. Hotel has a very welcoming check-in area on the 14th floor, which has a panoramic view of the downtown Hiroshima area. We enjoyed complimentary drinks and snacks as we watched the sun set.
