Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Beautiful guest house, comfortable rooms.
The house has an electrical problem as we lost power for several days, every 30 minutes.
The rooms near the bar can be noisy as you can hear the music and conversations all night long.
Nice quiet accommodation wirh beautiful garden and good restaurant on site. Friendly staff, good breakfast with fruits eggs sausage and salad. Location is biggest perk right next to village market and UNON and embassies in Gigiri. Laundry on site which is not too pricy. Room is good size with fridge, kettle. Room is small I found but decent for short stay. Bathroom is decent and clean.
Very nice and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful hotel with a great common area that includes outdoor fitness room.
Room is complete with necessities but a little bit small.
Food is delicious but is made-to-order so can take 20-30 minutes to prepare.
Graciously allowed us to do a late checkout with no issues because our flight was at nighttime.
Area is very safe, walking distance to Village Market shopping center.
Would recommend.
Nice place to stay, people are great and very kind, around the clock. Being an early riser, the 5 am crew is very cooperative and seeks to make your start of the day a pleasant one. The nearby mall (3 minutes walk) provides a range of restaurants and occasional expositions. Driving out may be a bit cumbersome, if you plan to do this at peak-hours. Definitively a place to return two, great 10 days here!

Disliked: Staff & service
The landscaped area of the property was very attractive, but the best thing about this property is the dinner chef, Poli, who is very accomplished and creates delicious meals. The breakfast not so much. Some of the wait staff seem unhappy with their job and communicate it when dealing with guests. Though effort was made, the reception person was unable to fix the TV and since the person was manning the front desk too, couldn't spend more time on it. Worst of all, the walls of the rooms are paper thin. I was treated to an emotional phone call next door that went on for 30 minutes. I heard the woman sneeze twice and if I had said Bless You she would have heard me. I didn't go outside into the area around the property so don't know. The staff though pleasant were of limited help and did not take the initiative - not sure whether it was inexperience or what. For example, ordering two Ubers for the same destination at the same time, instead of suggesting that the guests might be interested in sharing one. The Internet went out for awhile and the staff person was immediately on the phone to fix it, but wasn't aware of the steps that could have been taken to fix it without having to troubleshoot on the phone. That information was provided by the person on the phone.
Enjoyed the stay. Was especially grateful of how close it was to where we had our appointments. The property is aptly named and we would definitely stay there again.
1. Courtesy called the hotel at 1230pm to inform them that we will be checking in around 430pm. However, after checking in and going to the shower, they forgot to put in the shower towels.
2. After check-in, as I took a nap not wearing much alongside my partner, who was breastfeeding, a woman (who was a hotel staff member) used an electronic key and walked into our room without knocking. After realizing her mistake, she said sorry and quickly left. Then I saw a do not disturb sign outside the door. We are foreigners who sought out a good hotel based on security and safety. Felt uneased for the rest of the night.
3. Informed reception upon check-in that I would be having a guest come visit me in the restaurant. Although I provided the name of the visitor, they kept him waiting outside the gate for over 20 minutes until I came down to inquire about the whereabouts of my guest. Once she remembered that I had already informed her, she shook her head and apologized for the mishap. Why did you do that? I felt bad for him.
4. Since we chose this hotel based on the proximity of the US Embassy, I was assured by the receptionist that they had a fully-functional printer-scanner. Upon checking out, I needed to print some documents, but wasted over 20 mins watching the staff try to print/scan until they finally gave up. We missed breakfast to hurry to get a taxi to find a cyber cafe to print. Big inconvenience!
Lady at bar was perfect.
Overall, bad experience on my birthday. VR
Nice quiet accommodation with beautiful garden and good restaurant on site. Friendly staff, good breakfast with fruits eggs sausage and salad. Location is biggest perk right next to village market and un and embassies in Gigiri. Laundry on site at fair price. Room is good size with fridge, kettle. Room is small I found but decent for short stay. Bathroom is decent and clean.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
The Hotel itself I believe has teething issues.
Internet was slow. The power, went down for half a day. And cause the power was down the water went off too. I paid for a higher-grade room and for some reason, I was put into a standard room. No AC and a tiny TV. Breakfast. I raised these and was informed I should if booked directly with the hotel. I showed the app and reservation to staff and they said sorry. Different than our rates. At first, they put me in a nice room then changed stating it was a mistake. Anyway, the overall stay was quiet and relaxing. My room had no desk and chair As I needed for work and personal. I think this should be standard.
The staff is amazing: welcoming, warm, attentive and professional. This property is beautiful and has character, t is a great alternative to all the big hotels!
