"The staff here were so friendly, hard working, and helpful. The lobby has a nice eating area and the rooftop has a great view of the city skyline and the river. The bathrooms were always kept cleaned, the lockers were big and could accommodate my stuff, and the building is kept locked and safe. I had never stayed in a hostel before, but staying here was nice and easygoing. I would definitely book with them again"

"I had an amazing stay at The Peninsula, and I loved the river shuttle that took me over to the ICON SIAM mall next door. There was a wonderful man, Khun Paul, who helped run the shuttle and he was so kind and friendly! Also, I really enjoyed the Muay Thai kickboxing class; I did not get the instructor's name, but he taught a great class. The view from my room on the 33rd floor was awesome, looking out over Bangkok and the Chao Phraya river. Highly recommend this hotel for a luxury stay in the city!"

"Overall, an excellent hotel. A few very minor issues (I never brought these to employees). 1) down pillows are nice, but they collapsed rather quickly. Nothing mentioned anywhere about a pillow menu. 2) The only place to "day drink" is the lobby lounge. Maybe open one of the bars/lounges earlier. 3) My room door handle was a little bit loose. No major issue with security of the door, but something maintenance should be checking, in my opinion. The hotel is very clean and well staffed with knowledgeable and cheerful staff. From the front desk, the waitstaff at all establishments, to the housekeeping staff. All will do their best to make the stay there enjoyable and comfortable as possible. Special shout to Pao, the bartender at the Alehouse. Outstanding bar skills and service! Also Goong and Film. These ladies made the effort to get to know the patrons and make the time more personal!"

"This is a difficult review to write. The staff and property were amazing with the pool area and breakfast hasd highlights. I paid for an upgrade to "suite" which was not a suite--rather a large king sized, dated room. My VIP perk were not offered. The wing where the "suite was needs to be updated. The room was dark and the amenities were old."

"Big rooms which is rare in the capital cities, request a room away from the main road there is work going on and on the top floor. Ideally more washing machines and dryers would be better as it’s shared with a hostel and more chilling out areas. You have to walk quite a bit to the main sights, but there is good street food& coffee shops around. Underground is opposite hotel, we extended our stay by an extra night."
