"It’s certainly rustic. Linens were clean, and facilities generally clean. Some moderate dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling and the bathroom was well used, but for the price, it was great. And the view!!!!! My god the view was absolutely STUNNING!! It’s quiet at night, and very quiet in the morning as well."

"Seldom do the pictures on the website match the real thing. Sepana is the exception. The view of the rice terraces are incredible. Just as fabulous as in their website. In fact, tour groups stop at Sepana for the view. It’s a 10 minute scooter ride into town but easily manageable with a scooter service You don’t even need a guide to hike the rice terraces. One of the trails begins at the hotel and lead you down to the bridge that crosses over the river into the rice terraces."

"The stay was absolutely phenomenal. This is a one of a kind stay in Sapa! They coordinate with you to plan what time to have your dinner after you are done e exploring. We stayed a few nights and honestly kept coming back to eat here because the food tasted like a real homemade meal! Some of the food in Sapa is authentic but I feel is lacking love! Food here is made with much love with all of the team being amazing. Down to even how they treat their three cats and pup! Also the bedroom service is freaking awesome. They make your bed and clean while you have breakfast (which is a made to order service, definitely add the breakfast). We didn’t add it but regretted it because we had the breakfast every single day! Then before you go to sleep they make your bed again to have a net to sleep incase any tiny harmless bugs are in the room! It’s a beautiful natural stay so it’s only right that there will be some bugs but at night it’s like the staff does everything possible to get them out of the room where we never noticed them or had any bugs/spiders in the bathroom when you wake up at night to use it. The pool and view is also worth this stay alone. Do yourself the favor and treat yourself. Say yes and the main owner here is the best. He literally helped us with everything and down to letting us leave our bags as we ended up arriving quite early. If we could this would be a 12/10. And we’ve just recently stayed at “fancy hotels” in Hanoi. This should be $500/night"

"A beautiful view that changes as the day progresses. It's such a calming experience when compared to the pace and noise of Sapa. Being walking distance from both a Hmong and a Dao village. The restaurant breakfast has an ever changing menu and you overlook the rice fields and the Lau Chai village below. We took advantage of the spa and infinity pool that were both exquisite experiences. It's pricier than many accommodations in the region but you get good value for your money."

"Staff is overall pleasant and responsive. We had two hours of waiting after check out before transfer came and Doorman noticed us sitting in lobby and asked if need taxi. Told him wait time and he got us iced tea… Room has a small balcony with great view of Sapa valley and Moana statue/park when it is not foggy. Buffet breakfast is very good and good varieties. The hotel restaurant has good dishes and comparable prices to outside restaurants. It is located downhill just outside of city center which means walking into center is uphill! Overall very nice hotel for price."
