"Super relaxed and friendly resort. Felt very much like an 80s resort experience with current prices. Frangipani Bures were very comfortable for our family of 4. Everything is pretty tired but clean. Staff were very friendly, relaxed and helpful. Food was fine but over a week became a bit boring with the sameness of the menus. Definitely recommend eating out at other restaurants to mix things up a bit. Restaurant service was slow but friendly. We had a great week there"

"It was our first stay in Fiji and Maui Palms was the most wonderful experience. The apartment, amenities and grounds were amazing. Being right on the beach was beautiful and we were able to do a lot of activities through the resort. Although the standout were all of the lovely friendly and helpful staff! "We love this small resort in Korotoga on the Coral Coast and this was our third visit. The buildings maybe a bit tired but the rooms are spacious and clean with views overlooking the lagoon. The grounds are immaculate. The resort has a laid back relaxed feel and the restaurant has a good selection of food and drink. The best part are the staff who are all lovely."

"Where to start, wow, from when we were dropped off, the team was amazing. They performed a traditional warrior dance with full on costumes. The ocean views, rooms, restaurants, pool side and very warming culture make this an amazing place to go, for both families with kids, and also couples wanting a romantic few days. "We stayed in a plunge pool room and the room and view are amazing, if you can, I'd recommend highly. The amenities are standard, nothing flashy which suited our needs. All the staff were top tier, couldn't say enough nice things about them. The problem does arise when it comes to food and beverage. The included breakfast is subpar (and I'm being polite). Was stuck having toast with jam all week. I attempted to order from the menu one morning and had the most disgusting looking french toast I've ever seen. Raw, not uncooked. Raw. To make it worse, they dumped the soupy egg mix on top of the bread and attempted to serve it too me. When I refused in an attempt to eat it and asked for it to be taken back, I witnessed the manager and waiter arguing over it. I don't know what was said, it made me uncomfortable."

"Perfect and special bure right on beach - Beachfront (Tula), with the sound of the sea and waves right outside your door. Bed mattress new, firm, excellent sleep. Outdoor open air shower unique and amazing, with gas-boosted instant hot water. Get a Vodafone eSim online a week before you go ($23 AUD for 50GB for 10 days), activates the day before you go, switch to it on arrival on the airport, get 4G 2/3 bars in your room at the resort as wi-fi only in the restaurant. Included Continental Breakfast good enough to start the day. Hire car needed, 2WD ok for the 1 km gravel road to resort, + easy to drive around Fiji as 50 km/h / 80 km/h everywhere, just watch out for the odd pothole. 2 hour drive from Nadi airport, stock up half way with beers and snacks at True Mart Yadua as cheapest and good selection. Friendly owner and staff always happy to help make your stay the best it can be, + friendly people everywhere you go in Fiji. Relaxing and chilled holiday, small and exclusive without the boutique or brand price."
