"The location is great however many aspects of the property were disappointing: Basins and kitchen sink were not cleaned properly, kitchen benches also not clean. The tea towels were marked and had holes despite there being new ones in the linen closet. Fridge hadn't been cleaned either. The back deck has holes which were covered by a rug that also has holes. Two lights in the family room weren't working - we replaced the globes but one still didn't work. Doors out to the deck from a bedroom were...

"Enjoyed our stay in this spacious home. Well located just a few minutes walk from the Sawtell Main Street which has a lovely laid back vibe. Coming from the far south of Australia, we would have appreciated the option of air-con, but soon acclimatised & got the hang of airflow & ceiling fans."

"Probably my favourite stay ive had away from home. The area was amazing, tucked away but not too far from the hustle of the city. The house was beautifully modern, clean and equipped with everything our family needed to have a wonderful time. 10/10 unforgettable experience would definitely stay here again."

"We booked, based on dates for family reunion. Dates changed, but owner could not grasp that booking was for 2023, not 2022. He declined to change, so cousin booked necessary dates and we shared the house. Owner was most amenable to this. My family had stayed in this house, several times, when my sister and I were young. "The property is great. We had a lovely trip - so close to the beaches and shops. Large enough for two families of 4x and grandparents. The kids loved the separate sleeping area and their own kitchen. The main kitchen is well equipped and all the bedrooms are a good size for couples. Some feedback: the converted garage where the kids slept was so hot without a fan or air con. Also some foldable hanging racks would be really useful to use under the verandas during wet weather to dry beach...

"We has a 3 night stay 22-24 Mach 2024. The resort is very good, pool, spa are excellent. 1/2 court tennis as well. Has a cafe & restaurant (didn't try them). Has a boom gate secure undercover car park - only issue is the narrow car spaces. The resort was full. We came back sat night after 10pm and only 2 car spaces were left. But I couldn't park our medium sedan into any, as large SV's/Utes parked either side. If I parked in the space you couldn't open the door enough to get out. So...

"Belfry Guest House offers a bit of old world charm, nestled amongst the trees, offering great views over the little valley below - great atmosphere. Staff service was welcoming, helpful, and made guests feel comfortable in their stay - great assistance. Great options to cook your own food in the kitchen or dine out in one of the many locations in Belligen -I recomend the Royal Hotel for slow cooked beef cheek, served on mash with gravy and bens, delicious. I will be back to visit the National Parks and Waterfalls on the Waterfall Way/Highway. Highly recommend a stay at the Belfry for a quiet retreat, on your travels."
