"I really like staying at this hotel. I have pretty simple criteria: great staff, cleanliness, good water pressure. The staff is wonderful and the water pressure is great. The room was clean but the lobby areas seemed a little dusty, very noticeable in the elevator banks. The room furniture and carpeting in the halls, while clean, are very old and a little shabby and create a feeling it could be cleaner… Having said that, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel. Also, it is super convenient to trains and subways. I will stay here again."

"Standard cabin was combined with man and woman felt not safe. it must be separated. I feel not safe if the man is sleeping next door. the guy next door was snoring very loud that I could not sleep at all. left side woman was talking on the phone at 2am midnight. all different country traveller does not understand japanese or English makes so hard to stay. because they do not follow the rules. I would not stay again. Metro subway was close. but so many exit so you have to know where to exit. otherwise walking so much for nothing. Check in and out without a real person was a little bit hard too. the way translate English and Japanese for reservation ID are different.took time to check out."

"The hotel was well positioned in a lively area. They kept my bags until check-in time allowing me to explore. Everything worked smoothly with the app they used to identify luggage - they were VERY busy but remained polite and helpful. The room was perfect for the stay and I enjoyed use of the public bath after days walking around Tokyo and to Nagano to see the snow monkeys. I'd recommend this hotel - just make sure you put the right one in the satnav as there are a few with very similar names! "

"Súper small rooms but that’s very typical of Japan. Two people barely fit in one room and you will have to be creative about how you organize. Otherwise, if you just need a place to sleep, this is the place. It’s central to everything in Shinjuku including the train station. I would stay here again. "

"Good generic hotel that has most of what you would want. The room did not have an air purifier /humidifier included by default like most 3* hotels we've stayed at during our trip. Very central location to Ikebukuro. Airport Limousine bus stop right in front of the hotel. Busy and very big hotel necessitating the use of the elevator which was very annoying during busy times. We once had to wait over 20min due to it being too full three times once it got to our floor. The temperature cannot be controlled in the rooms. It was at times very warm due to warmer than usual temperatures at the end of winter."

"The good parts: The front desk staff were very helpful when I needed to call the airline on a local Japanese telephone number, allowing me to use the front desk phone without charge. The location is convenient for this price point. There is an underground passageway from Shinjuku station straight to the hotel, open until 23:00. (Though difficult to find, looking for the entrance to the Shinjuku subway line should put you in the right tunnel) There are convenience stores and restaurants in the same building. Not so great stuff: The rooms are small, even by Tokyo standards the space to move around the bed is tight. The rooms are not even slightly sound proof. It sounds like they put up standard stud walls with simple plasterboard. You can hear people in other rooms talking, snoring and banging around. They give you ONE low quality pillow upon checkin. You want more pillows? They put a small amount more in the corridor each day for first come first served. Reception simply tells you to check there. The TV is the worst hotel TV I have seen in a long time. The toilet is unnecessarily LOUD! Sit down? LOUD. Flush? LOUD. Refilling the tank? LOUD. I have never come across a toilet this unnecessarily loud. The provide one medium sized towel and one hand towel. You can put a sign on the door to just provide a new set. But they will come in after 3 days, clean and remove any extras. The laundry room is far too small for this size if hotel. It needs to be twice the size."
