We’ve stayed at Coast Bastion twice now and have enjoyed both of our stays. The hotel is conveniently located in downtown Nanaimo for exploring. It’s also newly renovated so the facility is really clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We will stay here again the next time we visit Nanaimo.

My husband and I stayed here for one nite in a corner view King suite. Amazing amenities in the bathroom with a surprising washlet with heated seat. The views of the harbour were spectacular!! Bed and bedding great….sitting are perfect. Wish we could have stayed a couple more days. The Blue Crab restaurant was superb!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will definitely book here again!!

Travelled with our dog they even got a welcome package … the room overlooking the harbour breathtaking went to a show at the port theatre great location especially walking the dog and eating out at pet friendly patios 👍
