"Perfectly located for a short stay at Watergate Bay, great apartment, clean comfortable and spacious for a family of 4. "

"The apartment had fabulous views. Check in was easy. The apartment was thick with dust along the skirting boards, inside the wardrobe, the patio door had dead flies and dirt in both corners and a cobweb in the top right hand side of the door frame. A dirty ear plug was left on the patio. The bedding was badly creased both the sheet, pillow cases and duvet. The smell of the apartment was fusty. The work surfaces in the kitchen had been rubbed. The bath had 1 hair in it but apart from that the...

"What a perfect apartment , a real find, everything in the apartment is of high quality , very comfortable bed. lovely shower , very well equipped kitchen. The balcony is a real bonus to sit and have your morning coffee on and take in the views that are breathtaking, lovely quiet location. Just a few minutes walk to the train station , there are many coastal walks around this area too. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again."

"Property was lovely. Perfect size for a couple, great facilities, amazing views. Ali greeted us on arrival and was lovely. The only caveat I would add is the very narrow lane up to the parking spot and gravel by driveway wasn't helpful for grip and turning of car. But the stay was lovely, lots of nice eateries nearby and great sea views with a flat coastal path."

"We enjoyed the quiet and tastefully furnished holiday flat, which is very suitable for exploring the Peninsula around Penzance by bus."

"This was our 3rd stay at this property and once again it didn’t disappoint. The apartment is very clean and has all that you would need for a break away. It is situated in a beautiful area, out of the town but close enough to walk.We were very lucky with the weather and so most mornings we had breakfast on the balcony watching the world go by.The only downside of the apartment is the steps but after a couple of days you don’t notice how many there are. Also helps to burn off the extra calories...

"Lovely property and offered all that it says. Central for travelling by bus and train as 5 minutes from the bus and train station. We did not drive so this was ideal. Simon kindly stocked us up with the basics for the first day or two with Milk, tea, coffee and buiskets so we had what we needed until some groceries were delivered. Thank you Simon, we had a wonderful week and were very comforable during our weeks stay x"

"We loved the atmosphere of the Alverton and its grounds. There was plenty of space for parking and the reception was only a short walk. The rooms we had were very well presented and very clean. I have marked down on the eco credentials as all the lights and television were on when we arrived which wasn't necessary. The terrace was a great place to sit in the late afternoon for a pre-dinner drink. At times the bar staff were talking to each other rather than looking after customers needs but they were always polite. We ate dinner the first night of our stay which was delicious and at a reasonable price. Breakfast was very good too. I would recommend this hotel to my friends."
