"My stay at Maswik Lodge was good overall, but it could be better. The rooms were comfortable and the property is fine, but the location within Grand Canyon Village is a bit farther from most restaurants and the main activity areas. The dining options at the lodge are limited—there’s mainly a pizza place and a self-service cafeteria that felt quite basic. I personally enjoyed the restaurant at Bright Angel Lodge & Cabins and also liked the steakhouse at Arizona Steakhouse much more. Being closer to the rim would also have been a big plus."

"Excellent location right at the rim. Room is basic park like facility but very liveable and suitable at a reasonable price."

"We stayed in two different rooms at The Thunderbird Lodge. The first was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and strong. The second was not quite clean, and the lock on the door didn’t work, so we piled our luggage in front of the door before going to sleep. The best part, however, was that the hotel was right on the rim of the Grand Canyon- truly breathtaking. "
