Anchorage was ideal for our purposes. Location was near to our event and the proximity to great dining options just a short walk away was perfect. The harbour is a delight for evening and morning walks.

Really great place to stay. Great huge room. Shower pressure was great and jet bath was a nice addition. Just be aware, when using expedia to book and you choose to pay a deposit, the money doesnt come out. The property advised me they only take full payments or pay at property on arrival.

Property is at a good location with a few restaurants in walking distances. Unfortunately the room was quite dated and the toilet had foreign material that hadn’t been cleaned prior to check in. Additionally the shower had dirt on the walls. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but ok for one night.

A really nice property with pleasant receptionists . Clean and spacious room its just the noise is a slight issue - i could hear normal level sounds from the adjacent room eg text message pings

Good location. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Dated bedding but it was clean. I left 2 items in the fridge-my drink bottle and a container of sweet snacks. I’d checked out but didn’t leave Napier until the afternoon so I would have appreciated a phone call.

lovely place to stay in Ahuriri

Fabulous having the spa queen with sea view as it felt so restful. Sadly people returning late on Saturday night with raucous chatting and a distressed woman whose date didn't turn out so well woke us up. Really nice to have plunger coffee although sadly ran out of green tea and there were none to be had in the entire motel when I asked for a swap with the lemon tea which was supplied to our unit in abundance. Very close to Shed 2 a gastropub that out performed the gastropub we visited recently in Waikanae. Shed 2 has amazing food and the prices are reasonable.

Cons: Low acoustic rating between units meant that we could hear snoring amongst other things through the walls. The condition of the unit was definitely worn. Smoking was allowed outside the units which meant we could open our window. Pros: Walking distance to local restaurants, good parking.

I stayed here while on business. The location was great for me to use as a base going around the Hawkes Bay region. The staff were friendly, the room was in good order and there was plenty of parking. Loved the view of the marina in the evening and all the neighboring dining options.
