"The location in central Leucate was great. We liked the old-world and artistic decoration. Parking was relatively easy, at least at this time outside of high season. The two main criticisms: 1. We stayed three nights and two full days. Breakfast on the first morning was s disappointment, especially given the price of room. "We loved this place. We booked two rooms and they were both spacious, bright, clean with everything we needed. There were fresh baguettes and croissants delivered to us from the local boulangerie for breakfast. The location is central but quiet, walkable to the train station. Our windows open to the Narbonne cathedral and the beautiful plain trees outside. The host was very gracious about us storing our luggage after check-out. Overall we had a great stay and will stay here again if we come back...

"Beautiful traditional French house, lovingly cared for by its owner. Large bedroom with plenty of space, good size bathroom with jet bath. A little difficult with no shower attachment on the wall, a minor detail. Breakfast was plentiful, well presented and thoughtfully put together. The host was wonderful and went out of his way to be helpful. There was a language barrier which made the whole stay fun, we used Google translate a lot! There’s a lovely patio area with relaxing chairs and a hot tub...

"The main house was absolutely beautiful! We stayed, however, in a beautiful, modern cabin across the courtyard but we had a fabulous breakfast in the dining room of the house. Next time, we will opt to stay in the main house because it is so beautiful and full of fabulous antiques. The host and hostess, Beatrice and Eric, were so friendly and welcoming. They welcomed our two little dogs who played with their puppy. We had a wonderful stay and will make a point to go back and stay longer."

"Château le Bouïs is a truly spectacular gem of a winery and property outside of Narbonne in the Occitania region of southern France. Nestled into the foothills overlooking the valley and sea the service, restaurant and experience was amazing! Wine tasting every day from 5:30-7:30 to take in the delicious vintages they produce.
