Summer get away

Ourstay was overall amazing. The house was perfect the property it sits on secluded quiet and beautiful. I would recommend this property to just about anyone. I just loved the absence of chaos. Nashville the little town had so much to offer. Plenty of entertainment amazing food and beautiful atmosphere.

Family Time

I would not stay again. Watching tv was limited even using mobile hot spot. Really needs totally deep cleaned and updated especially for the price paid. Very dark and dreary inside. Looked like evidence of mouse droppings in bottom of stove.

Great family spot

Our family (2 adults+4yo+2yo+NB) stayed here for a few days and loved it. The kids loved the swing, we enjoyed the hot tub, the inside and outside of the property were very spacious. The location was great for hiking, restaurants and shopping. We would love to come back again!

Nice Cabin

It was a nice place and we enjoyed our stay. The LED lights around the deck wouldn’t work so it got pretty dark out there after sunset. Would definitely stay again.

Great getaway

Perfect cabin! Supplied all the necessities during our stay. Beautiful woodwork. Close to all main attractions. Very peaceful and quiet to stay. They had outside toys for children too that would be nice if we stayed during warm weather. Definitely recommend!

Memorial getaway

The cabin was very clean and well stocked inside. Great location and only a few miles to the park and Nashville. We spent time at the fire pit and the wrap around deck. Very peaceful wooded lot. The deck could use a cleaning but that is expected being surrounded by trees. We had a great time and would recommend this property.

A great cabin!

This is the BEST stocked VRBO I have ever stayed in! Their listing did not do it justice. There was a bag of outdoor toys for kids, there was even a crockpot in the pantry! We had plenty of room for everyone. The deck is enormous and had lots of seating. We really enjoyed the town of Nashville and relaxing around a campfire at night. This may have to be an annual event. Thank you!

We had a great time. Could use some extra cleaning lot of cobwebs and fans. Pillows were very hard . Some of the group said mattress needed replaced. But beautiful location and close to town. Might try again.

Great location, furnishings but wouldn’t stay again

The listing does say there’s no cable or wifi but only if you scroll to the bottom which I find somewhat deceptive, especially since the reception is really terrible even for major carriers so it’s nearly impossible to get connected, let alone stream anything which would have been incredibly helpful to know while booking during March Madness. The hot tub, secluded location and updated kitchen were great. It was “cleaned” regularly but not well. There was dust caked on the walls and in corners, and cobwebs everywhere.

The cabin was clean unless u gave it a real look. Lots of dust on the shades. The garage light shined right into the down stairs bedroom. There was noway to turn it off.and no curtain to block yhe light. There were no outside lights on the back deck for the hot tub. Very dark and dangerous. The outside landshape and gutters needed some help. The location was great and rhe cabin had plenty of room.

Roomy

The house has plenty of room for myself and 4 girlfriends. The house could be very nice but could use some updating. Looks like they had started projects on walls with drywall but never finished. The no doors on the main floor bedroom and the bathrooms upstairs is not ideal but we made it work. Would be nice if there were chairs around the fire pit so we didn't have to bring our own. The cell service wasn't good and with no WIFI it made it hard to watch any TV when we wanted to . Would have been nice to have WIFI. The deck area is very dark at night so it would have been nice to have lights out there for walking to and from the hot tub. Damon was amazing with communication and help when we needed it. Nothing I stated would stop us from staying again in the future.

Rented for Girls Weekend Positives: Owner very responsive-Backyard view-W/D, DW, sinks/faucets seem new-Lots of seating in DR & LR-Located close to Nashville/Columbus/Edinburgh Mall-Outside lighting Negatives: Spiderwebs over front door, deck full of leaves-not a great welcome-Fridge/Freeze full of food we would never dream of using, annoying to deal with-crumbs/ants in cabinet-DW is 1/2 sized-No screens on windows-House is not cleaned well, log cabin walls are caked with dust, NO DOORS on full baths or LL BR, makes sharing the house very awkward-Upstairs bunk mattresses need replacing-One shower has dirty cedar shingles in it, very odd, how is this properly cleaned??, needs new faucet as only 1/4 of the water comes out of shower head, no vent fan-Other bathroom vent fan is loud and dirty-

Charming, Rustic Cabin in the Woods

My family and I spent Memorial Day Weekend in Brown County visiting the State Park and the town of Nashville. We rented Cider Cabin and was happy with how much space the cabin offered for all of us. The living room had 3 comfy couches and recliners that everyone could relax on after our long days and it has an adorable kitchen stocked with everything you could need. The 3 bedrooms were clean and comfortable and each had a bathroom near them. We did wish there was a little more privacy offered as the downstairs bedroom does not have a door or curtains on the windows for privacy and the upstairs bedrooms have doors to the room but no doors on the restrooms and the bedroom doors do not lock. The cabin does have a wrap-around huge porch that we felt like could have been the highlight of the cabin, but it is in desperate need of a cleaning. With it being warm, we expected the porch to be blown off (sticks & debris from winter still sat all over it), trash picked up (soda cans/bandaid by the hot tub/ants in hot tub/broken bar/beer cooler filled with mud), Holiday decorations put away (Halloween/Snowman) and the outdoor furniture cleaned and prepared for use. The fire pit area is also in much need of some simple clean up. We actually moved the wheelbarrow & trash can laying on their sides buried in the leaves and dirt right next to the fire pit. We were shocked by the lack of care to the outdoors considering the cabin was so clean and cared for inside.

Bachelorette

We enjoyed the peaceful cabin stay. It was convenient for our small bachelorette group to get into town for our activities and then come back and relax. The comfy living room was great for our game night. The only thing we wished was that there were doors or curtains on the upstairs bathrooms but overall it was perfect.

Perfect Reading Retreat

We were looking for a nice quiet place to read and relax! We loved that it was close enough to town that we were able to get some shopping in. There wasn’t a single thing we were missing when we cooked a meal at the cabin. The hot tub was primed and ready to go when we got there. Plenty of wild life so it wasn’t eerily quiet. Plenty of space and bathrooms!
