"Fabulous location! Wish we stayed longer than 2 nights! The only thing is the layout labelling and instructions on how to get to your room, with only certain elevators going to sections and floors are - or + and the signage for a,b,c etc buildings is confusing. We did figure it out the second day, so if you stay longer and aren't completely addled, you will be fine. I understand that Locke de Santa Joana is made up of several historic buildings (3 dating back to the 15th century) and protected as national hermitage etc...and I'm sure whoever designed the mapping did so to make it as user-friendly as possible but maybe the hotel can add something more/else to limit frustration for travellers."

"Great hotel, good location- staff were brilliant and knowledgeable- slightly out of main tourist drag( only a 20 mim walk though) but near to excellent loc al restuarants and bars. Only issue for me (as a short person) was everything such as hairdryer were out of reach!"

"A very nice place to stay. In a less busy, but really nice part of town. Walking distance to some good amenities but a lot less busy than the touristy parts of town. La Boulangerie was an incredible place for breakfast or other meals. Whole apartment was comfortable and in great condition."

"Lo mejor el desayuno buffet. Estuvo muy variado. El lavamanos de mi habitación estaba atorado y tuve que pedir arreglo en la recepción. Lo que no colaboro con la estadia fue el personal. La pesona que recargaba comida y bebidas se mostraba siempre agestada. Cuando le pregunté por agua caliente me hizo una señal baga hacia una esquina. Ni me menciono que era una maquina de capuchino que tenia una larga cola. La persona que atendia las pizzas y comida rapida de noche, no se mostraba amable, se acercaba al ver que ya llevabas esperando un buen rato y te daba la impresión de que la estabas interrumpiendo. Teniamos una botella de Porto que quisimos tomar en la terraza del jardin pero se acerco el encargado del counter y con una actitud negativa dijo que estaba prohibido consumir licor ahi, que si queriamos, la tomaramos en nuestros cuartos. Decidimos comprar copas de vino del bar del hotel, pizzas y otras comidas rapidas del bar, pero el encargado paraba y repasaba por el area mirandonos fijamente o vigilandonos para que no consumamos nuestra botella. Si un huesped por falta de conocimiento rompe una regla de consumo del hotel, hay maneras muy amables de decirle que no se puede. Tomar la actitud del policia que te controla y te vigila es muy desagradable. El personal, salvo excepciones, no habla ingles. Sugiero entrenen a todo el personal para que ejecute su labor con una sonrisa y amabilidad, sobre todo porque trabajan en una industria dedicada a la atención del turista."
