"Stayed for a three nights at this cottage, it was lovely! Right in the countryside, surrounded by amazing views and only a short 10min drive to Alton Towers. Perfect for a family of three with everything you need for a short or long stay. Great location! Will definitely stay again! 😆👏 "
"Great stay at our lodge which was very comfortable. The only thing that would give this all five stars would be the shower which first thing in the morning had no hot water. Apart from that it was perfect! Will definitely be back (despite the cold shower) "
"On entering cottage greeted with smell of damp and stale smoke.Floors not hoovered.Half emptied cigarette on dining chair. Rotting food on baking tray in stinking oven, could not use.Sanitary towel wrapper in bedroom. Various dusty surfaces and cobwebs all around.Mouldy sealant around bath. I left feedback direct with manager, but received no response. I would not recommend."

"Cutlery was filthy. Kettle full of limescale and so was bathroom. Loose tiles on shower floor. Stains on bedsheets. No solid curtains on the bedroom windows. Couch full of stains and absolutely 0 contact with host. Didn’t even stay the night. Will never come back and can’t recommend. Waste of money "
"It was okish for a short break, wasn’t really much to do in the area and overall the lodge could do with a new mattress as we’ve had 3 nights awful sleep and the sofa wasn’t much better. Could also do with a really good deep clean as there was alot of mold in the shower seals and the window openings were absolutely filthy. "
