"We really enjoyed our stay at the Merchantile. It's a stunningly beautiful hotel with lovely, creative decor. The breakfast was fantastic, one of the best that we've experienced in our travels. There is a buffet section and then made to order, delicious options such as Eggs Royale. The staff was friendly and helpful. The facade of the building is also gorgeous. The location is perfect, close to many pubs including the Temple Bar. The room was very quiet also. We recommend the Stag's Head Pub for lunch and some pints. Our rating is 4.75 because of the hard pillows and some dusty areas in the room."

"Temple Bar was a great location for touring around the very busy touristy area. With the age of the historic building we were quite impressed with the upkeep of the finishings. We had a quad room for 4 adults and it was quite tight with no real place to place large suitcases. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. The bathroom could use a bit more shelving and hooks for hanging towels, placing clothes and personal amenities etc. Our room was on the first floor facing the “alley” street and it got quite warm in the evening with outside temps around 28°C. As others have said it can be quite loud with all the bars in the area and being party central but overall it didn’t bother us. So many restaurants and souvenir shops in the area and 20 minutes walk to almost anything you want to visit."

"We had a great stay! The room was spacious and clean - our family of 4 was very comfortable. The location is fantastic! Everything you want to see is just outside the front door. The breakfast was yummy and the staff was helpful. Definitely recommend!"
