"The hotel is clean and spacious. Could do with a refresh (power points or charge ports near the bed). But what is outstanding is their staff. 100% every interaction was awesome. Polite. Professional. Warm and welcoming. Is something was needed, they did it. If something was uncertain, they cleared it up. They handled mail and packages. Remembered important details and got things resolved. Always with a polite smile and no extra charges. THIS is how hospitality should work. Orlando, Vegas and the big resorts can learn plenty from the Marriott Pittsburgh!!"

"The hotel is very clean and close to many restaurants and bars on the North Shore. The noise from the highway ramp goes on until 2am. It’s a busy road. If you can bring a white noise machine. The parking lot is directly under the ramp outside the hotel and very tight. The front desk was very attentive and the attached restaurant SoHo was fantastic! Great service and food. "

"This was the perfect place to stay while we were in town to see the Detroit Red Wings play the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. We parked overnight at US Steel Tower Garage (44 Bigelow Ave), which was right across from the hotel, and then could easily walk to the hotel from there. We then walked 5 mins to the arena to see the game. The hotel was quiet and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was a nice stay and the suite we stayed was a great place to hang out for the evening. We did not get breakfast or dinner but there is a restaurant on site. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again. "

"We loved the layout of the room. Kitchen was useful. Rugs, couch and mattress were stained but rest of room clean. Furniture worn. All normal wear and tear. Sadie was SOOO helpful and rest of staff really nice."

"The breakfast was good, they had yogurt/parfait ingredients, eggs, sausage, cereal, variety of bread choices including donuts. I liked it. Rooms were clean and amenities are solid. Pool and gym etc."
