"We had a great time. The property was in a very convenient location. It was roomy and well taken care of. My sisters family had to cancel there trip with us at the last minute so it was just us. (family of 8). My teen daughters loved it because they got their own room. ;) 1 Block away from the temple made for a nice evening stroll our first night there. I’d definitely stay there again."

"We stayed here with our 5 kids (under 12yrs) and my dad. We had a great time. I loved the location. We walked the town and to the temple. It was also very convenient having a store across the street. The cars on the Main Street can get a little noisy in the morning, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. Sharing one bathroom was a little tricky at times with 8 people but again it was worth it. We felt like we were part of little Nauvoo staying so close to everything. Tips from the hosts were also very helpful. . "

"We very much enjoyed our time at the 'castle'. It was a fun and unique place to stay. Since our visit was so brief (3 nights), we didn't get to use a lot of the amenities, such as the hot tub, musical instruments, fireplaces, etc.; but we did have pleasant evenings on the deck watching the sunsets and we enjoyed the fire pit one evening. The views were beautiful. The home is very spacious, so we had plenty of room to spread out and having three bathrooms was great! I was also impressed with the supplies provided. We didn't have any children with us, but I think it would be a great place for families with kids. The lower level with the bunk room had a nice selection of games, children's DVDs, etc. The only issue we had was getting a wi-fi signal. We used our phones for hot spots since the signal didn't seem strong enough for our laptops. I would stay here again."
