"We loved the view from the home! A beautiful view of the river. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds clean with nice sheets and comforters , and the ammenadies of extra chairs and tables for our large group of 33 persons. Lisa was responsive to all my questions and texts and an excellent host."

"The room was adequate, clean, old but well cared for. There was no breakfast which is hard when your staying fir a couple of days. Come prepared. Staff was very helpful and nice. "

"No parking at bottom of drive as stated in listing. Air was turned off when I arrived. Took hours for it to get to 75 degrees with 2 beat up AC units running on high. Outdoor light on the driveway side doesn’t work. Top of the driveway was a little muddy from rain and lack of rock. Strong mildew odor the next day after AC units had been running.Limited silverware. Fridge was nice and cold. Shower had hot and cold water. No curtains on the windows except by the large bed. It gets very hot in the cabin during the day because of all the sunlight . Wish they would add some curtains to help with that/ and privacy. Shower needs scrubbed moldy around the edges and hair in it. Overall it wasn’t cleaned well, just dusty sticky surfaces and cobwebs. The sheets were clean and there were clean towels in a dirty bin on the bathroom floor. Didn’t get a chance to sit outside because there are a ton of wasps that like to go between the screen and main doors. Several found their way inside. If this had been a hotel I would have asked for a different room that was clean with working air. Since the main air unit trips the breaker I doubt it runs during cold time to heat the cabin. The location is nice and I enjoyed the beach. With a little work this would be a super amazing place to stay and I would stay again, but would like to see new heating/ cooling spray for the ants in the kitchen, and a little better cleaning. Host was pretty quick to answer when I reached out. "
