"Roomy, clean. Conditions seem to vary some from room to room (viz. TV size, carpeting vs. hard floor). We were by the laundry, so staff & equipment got kind of noisy at times. "We enjoyed our stay in the halfling house. My husband and I and our 8 kids filled the space. It is themed very well and will stocked. We stayed only 1 night as we were passing through and my kids loved it! There are costumes to dress up in and even an old fashioned key that unlocks the round door. ..."

Plan extra time to see all of Nauvoo! You'll not be board with 2 or 3 days. Dinner is only offered at the Nauvoo Hotel & lunch is not offered on Monday's at Grandpa John's Cafe, but it's nice for breakfast, lunch & ice cream.

Loved the church history and rich heritage/background of the area. Even if you’re not religious, this area played a key role in Pioneer expansion to early Western United States. Lovely area!
