"We booked this 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in Dominicalito for a quick two-night stop between Manuel Antonio and Uvita and left wishing we had stayed longer. The listing title “walking distance to waterfalls, the beach, yoga, cafe” is spot on. No misleading photos, no hidden fees.The house is cozy and well-equipped. Spotless bathrooms, strong AC in bedrooms (great for humid May), working washing machine, and a fully stocked kitchen. We cooked meals with fresh finds from the Dominical farmer’s market, saved money and felt relaxed.Location shines: Walked to Playa Dominicalito in under 15 min for sunrise swims. Easy waterfall hike, nearby yoga/cafes. Quick drives to Dominical or Uvita for more options. It truly is perfectly nestled between towns.Check-in was smooth, host responsive, property immaculate.Excellent value — more privacy and comfort than hotels. We’d return in a heartbeat. Five stars!"

"The grounds are beautiful and the facility was clean and well-kept. Staff members were pleasant. We would actually consider staying there in a different room but the white cabin with the thatched roof was awkward and uncomfortable to the point that we left after one night even though we knew we wouldn't get a refund. You can tell from the photos that some of the description is inaccurate (It's just one bedroom and doesn't have a private pool though there is one pool for all guests to share.) but here's what isn't as obvious: 1. The bedroom windows are too small for decent airflow and the small portable AC they added is too noisy to use while you're sleeping. 2. The bed has clear plastic skylights over it so there isn't really time to get a good night's sleep between when the room cools down enough and the sun comes up and wakes you up. 3. The cover for the patio is made of the same clear plastic so it doesn't really provide much shade which is a big deal since your inside space is so hot. 4. You have to leave your bedroom and walk around outside to the back of the cabin to access your bathroom and they advise you to take a flashlight so you can see any fer-de-lance snakes on your way. 5. The cabin is situated on the path for staff and other guests so, while you're sitting on your patio getting a sunburn through the plastic, people might be walking right past you. We've stayed in many quirky places in Central America that we absolutely loved but this room was not okay for us."

"The most incredible stay! We had 2 families and fit comfortably. Pool was great. Rooms stayed cool. The staff was incredible and helped with all of our questions and needs. Highly recommend this home for CR! "

"I stayed at this location for a month and left feeling rested and rejuvenated. The birdwatching from the patio was fabulous, toucans, kites, motmot, trogans as well as the endemics to the area. We heard howler monkeys daily but only saw them at the waterfall on the road up to the house. We had the capuchin monkeys in the trees at the house one day. The kitchen had everything we needed. We just had to buy ice as the ice machine couldn't keep up with our needs. The rooms are comfortable and roomy. It is a jungle so you can expect some bugs. You definitely need to keep valuables locked up even if you are at the house by the pool. We were victims of some theft from the main area that cannot be secured. Definitely tell the host as soon as you know so that she can check the cameras. We did not realize that so we lost some cash, chocolates and a water bottle but not the liquor that was on the kitchen counter. The beaches that are close are beautiful if you don't go to the main town beaches. The grocery store is within 15 min. The pool is a lovely place to end your day of adventures and watch the sunset. The water was a little cloudy early on but they treated it and we enjoyed it once it cleared up.Overall the value was great and it was such a pleasant place to enjoy family and friends."

"We stayed for a little over 4 weeks and very much enjoyed the experience. The house seemed larger than it appeared in the photos we looked at prior to arrival. Everything is modern and the kitchen was better than the average rental house - we prepared many meals while there. We enjoyed walking down to the waterfall for a swim every morning. The sunsets were absolutely spectacular. We paid extra for the cleaning crew to come several times during our stay - wonderful people who do great work, and the price was very reasonable. You do need 4WD, but it’s fun - you feel like you’re on a bit of an adventure😀 We encountered a few minor maintenance issues while we were there - the property management team always responded promptly and the people they sent to the house were friendly and professional. Regarding phone and internet service, the cell signal we got at the house was 1 bar of 3G, and the house has a fast fiber optic and wifi connection, however, the fiber optic connection was not always working (the fiber optic company’s issue, not the property managers). This is perfectly fine for a relaxed vacation but may be a challenge for anyone needing to work or join virtual meetings. We experienced no crime and always felt safe - in fact, the people we interacted with were uniformly friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend.this property."

"A nice private location with a nice view of the ocean from the patio and the pool. The check in process was nice with the detailed driving instructions and the door lock with a code. We stayed here for 5 nights and found several nice resturants within a short drive. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoon."

"Outstanding Villa with incredible views. Spacious and comfortable - beautiful layout. Perfect in every way! The pool was amazing. We loved all the birds, monkeys, butterflies. The service by the property manager, Katherine and cleaning staff, Jussy, was exceptional. The owner was very communicative. Highly recommend!! We loved every minute. "
