Charlie was great, very nice and attentive. Not many issue that I dealt with, only AC could have worked better, we felt hot during the night (@67). The main door had trouble locking but I managed to get it locked. Overall it was a nice place to just stay the weekend.

This is a wonderful property compared to the chain hotels found locally. I was very pleased with staff and the very comfortable bed. My only disappointment is that the AC was off on my arrival and off again during the day while we were away coming back again to a very hot room. I understand trying to be thrifty but in Texas heat even in the fall a nice cool room when you arrive back from working outside all day is preferable to one that must take a couple hours to cool down.

I wanted to book a nicer hotel, but my other half wanted something closer to the venue where we would be going. Very old motel. My other half is a bath person, but she was unable to take a bath because inly the shower worked. The shower head was not adjustable and was pointed directly towards the inside corner of the tub causing the water to then run down along the edge right onto the floor. The deadbolt did not line up right in the door so we relied on the door itself and the chain for security. We didn't worry too much about security as we were 2 of maybe 5 other guests staying here. It was cheap. It worked for our needs

Fun blast from the past

This hotel ahould be marketed as vintage, classic or nostalgic for us Gen Xers. It is clean, safe, maintained, has good water pressure and a value price. This is exactly like what we would have expected in the 70s or 80s on a family road trip and would have loved. Although older, this felt like a safe motel...not a place that was sketchy or with sketch clientle. That said, two beds in the room was cramped for space, but it was ok. This was a fun classic place. If I owned the place, I'd probably put in some kitchy palm 🌴 or neon flamingos and play up that aspect. Now....if you want the newest, latest, greates or modern hotel, you will be very disappointed. If you want a budget friendly functional stop for a night or two, it's worth a stop.

We went to Navasota for a dog show. Placed my reservation based on reviews. Poor choice. I could feel every spring in the mattress, refrigerator did not work but the freezer did, don't know why. The shower and tub were dirty. Floors were as if they havent been swept in a while (good thing i wear shoes all the time). The first thing i checked was the bed for bed bugs,(yes, it was that bad) there was fresh paint over duct tape in the room, especially the corners, and in the bathroom holding the fixtures up. The only thing this place has nothing of is bugs. The place needs to be condemned and start over cause it sure wasn't worth the $100 i paid for. I expect they will delete this review but it's the truth. I will sleep in my truck if their place is the inly one left.

Quiet, clean, affordable

Quick easy drive from College Station, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room had cold, refreshing AC. The room was very clean and had all the basic necessities. It is apparent the owners are doing their best to make upgrades and make the rooms nice. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a hard time finding a room around College Station that wasn’t either ridiculously priced or had complaints about roaches / cleanliness / shady dealings on the lot. I was skeptical of this place given the price but it delivered like a motel charging double. Clean room, very friendly staff, quiet as can be and room didn’t need any updating / repairs. Got a good night's sleep here and can’t say that about most motels I've been to.
