"My husband and I stayed at Relais Maddalena and we absolutely adored our time there. Monica was incredibly helpful pointing out several restaurants and attractions in the area. All of her recommendations were amazing, take her advice on restaurants especially. All of the major attractions in central Rome were about a 20 minute walk or less. We could see the Pantheon from our window. The area felt safe and welcoming. The room was large and clean with charming decor that added the right level of modernity without losing all of the charm of the building."

"We were here for three nights in May. First, the AC worked very well in our room. The room was clean when we arrived and was cleaned daily. All the hotel personnel we interacted with were wonderful and very helpful. We found the area convenient without the expected noise in a big city with plenty of dining options nearby. Our only complaint would be to repaint the scuffs on the walls in the room where luggage had rubbed up against it."

"Naturally, you are in the middle of a very ancient city. In an old, yet, well kept building. It is still pretty loud outside even with windows closed and cigarette smoke is everywhere. It worked out for us, but if you care about the noise and smoke it would be problematic. Fantastic staff, great breakfast and a very nice complimentary bottle of sparkling (VIP access). "

A C worked great which would be very important in the summer. Had a bottle of wine on the rooftop and it was awesome. Unique view of Rome. Breakfast was good. Location amazing. "
