"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at By the Sea Hotel in Nazaré. The room location was the best in the hotel, with windows overlooking the beach. The staff was helpful, polite, and friendly. We had a great visit to Nazaré in part because we had such a great room at By the Sea Hotel."

"The rooms are very clean, modern, and spacious. Linens are nice, and the kitchen is well appointed. Some street noise and dogs in residences across the street reach the apartment. And you must go to a separate hotel closer in to register. The clerk was very accommodating for us as we arrived a little early. He let us park in front for a while, and messaged us when the rooms were ready. When we return to the area, we'll book here again."

"The hotel had a beautiful view of Nazare from the hillside. We were given an upgrade which was a lovely surprise. The room was spacious with a nice deck. We enjoyed the breakfast."

"Portugal won a soccer match and celebrated with blaring horns. My husband did not sleep very well on this night. But overall fine, clean, everything you need"

"Property was spotless and very comfortable. Less than 7 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes or so gets you to some great restaurants. Great spot to stay when exploring Nazare."
